Wow... this has made me realize the ETERNAL importance of forgiveness. I already knew it was required of us as believers but I have NEVER heard those verses in Matthew that he reads at the end explained in terms of heaven or hell. 🤯

Great message Jentezen, I see you've taken a very priestly application to this message. In order to make it complete and balanced we need to look at the kingly application of forgiveness. One such scripture is John 20:23. I've written about this in "Restoring Kingly Forgiveness". We often forget to look at what happens when the Lord does not forgive, and how we are to replicate that on Earth too. As so often we only look at the blessing side of things. Blessings. :)
I have been struggling to forgive the bone of my bones for hurting me badly. I have listened to so many sermons about forgiveness,this one takes the medal 🏅. Lord help to forgive pls,Thank u pastor 🙏I am going to listen to this sermon everyday until I forgive the two ppl who have hurt me most in my life
How strong is that, i believe the only way we can forgive is to love God with all our heart only the love of God in us will able us to forgive our sinful ,flesh cant do that lets be real we need a supernatural power to forgive

Not always that easy i feel disabled emotionally from life long effects of child abuse i lost everything in my life choose wrongly another ungodly relationship who also abused me and turned my kids against me i dont feel ill ever get ovrr such ruination and i cannot forget what my mother caused no matter how hard i try

Jesus set the bar high on forgiveness. I have been taught so many things on what forgiveness is and setting boundaries that I question if I have truly forgiven or not. To me forgiveness is an act of love and like love should require more than just saying I forgive you. Did Jesus say I forgive you but I don't want to see you again, I forgive you but you are not invited to my house. Theses our the things that I hear Preachers saying. I here them saying forgiveness is not restoration of the relationship. I hope Jesus doesn't think this. These our just some things I ask myself. ❤

This is my struggle..its hard for me to forgive a person who really hurt my feelings so much. I have been keeping this bitterness and strife for a very long period of time. I would like to share, There was one pastor in our fellowship who have misinterpreted me and sadly he aired it to the whole congregation without taking my side first. This has caused significant devastation in my reputation. I was thinking that why he should expose it to everyone if he could talk to me privately and the problem is I did nothing wrong but it is just a misinterpretation or a misguided information. Help me and pray for me to forgive that pastor.
Mikael guardian. I've been there where you are now. Yes it's hurt so badly I cried day and night with a prayer in my heart. The Lord told me I had to forgive him and I did. Now I am free in my spirit, thank you Jesus. Please forgive him and move on with the Lord. I'm praying for you to release that burden in Jesus Name. I love you! Yes, forgiveness is not easy, it wasn't easy for Jesus, He forgave us by giving His life in our place. Last year God led me to make a list of people I could think of that I needed to forgive, even if it was a lil' offense. There were few people I found so hard to forgive, I told the Lord I want to forgive but I just don't know how to, then went on to tell Him how I felt when they did all that to me. I asked the Lord that I am willing to be made willing to forgive them, and after I am made willing I need Your help to forgive. It took sometime but God helped and I was able to forgive from heart. Few people I forgave I see them everyday, so I always pray that God will help me keep my attitude right towards them. Ask God and you will see your heart change. Blessings and success to you in Jesus' name.
