  • Can we ever justify NOT forgiving somebody? Week 3 of Pastor Franklin's series 'Love Like You've Never Been Hurt' takes a look at how often times it's easy, if not justifiable, to withhold forgiveness on those who have hurt you.

    Its New Year's Eve 2019. This is a hard message for me because I have been struggling with releasing a family member who deeply hurt me repeatedly after reopening my heart to them. I would cringe each time I heard their voice. I have been feeling so convicted and asked The Holy Spirit to help me.

    If J C. defended himself. blasphemy f kicks in cause. now he would be calling God a LIAR . but between JC and God there was this awesome passionate relationship that it became impossible for Christ to defend himself

    Yes J C could of avoided the whole torture. but he would of sinned, sin would of enter Jesus s spirit and and he would of ended in hades , and there would of been no Holy Spirit nor grace om planet earth

  • @annjose8039
    @annjose8039 Před 5 lety +3

    This is not good theology. Jesus had no choice: He had to do it because otherwise it would go against Jesus' own nature which is to submit to the will of the Father. Yes Jesus could have called 12 legions of angels if he WANTED TO (because it was in HIs power to do so), but Jesus didn't WANT TO because His will was to do the will of the Father. thats why it says in scripture after "do you think i could not call 12 legions.. but then how would scripture be fulfilled?" - matthew 26:53-54. this sermon is so WRONG, so WRONG. It said Jesus was slain "BEFORE the foundation of the world" - 1 peter 1:20. then how could it be justified that Jesus get out of this?
    Also I like this Pastor but he seems to be getting arrogant and cocky during some of his sermons - he should be on guard for his own self and soul. I suggest he take a hiatus from the crowd and preaching and spend a whole year alone with God. I am praying for you pastor that you do not slip away from God. Sometimes the stuff he says is wrong: like in the sermon on offense he wanted people to just forgive and move on from their offense and "Drive" out of the offense. Does he not know that this is close to IMPOSSIBLE without Christ? You cant forgive without the love of God in you. Forgiveness is a supernatural act thats why people are awestruck by it. His sermons are good and useful but there are elements of incorrectness in them which is dangerous because so many seem to just blindly believe whatever he is saying.
