International women’s day ❤❤❤Some years ago I watched an Indian movie “”English Vinglish”” with the late actress Sridevi.. I watched it several times over the years and couldn’t figure out why until last year.. it perfectly demonstrates the strength of women to overcome every obstacle in their life while being invisible to the very people who are nothing without her. I cry every time I watch it at the end. She only needed one person to believe in her.. every Indian woman of every colour should watch it and understand that it’s her dream faith strength that makes it possible, not the colour of the skin,wealth, education or travel abroad.
I know the movie well and agree with you - women need to lean into their strength more and also give their own desires some importance, regardless of what the culture or society around them says is acceptable. Thanks for the comment :)
