Yeah, I don't see the Kings trading Murray. Holiday is a total bad ass, but he's 33. Murray's longterm upside is way too valuable.

I agree, Fox & Sabonis are like 26/27, Murray is like 23, Duarte is 26, Mitchell is like 24. Huerter is 25. So there’s no need to start trading these guys, give them time to grow together and they could be in contention before Fox exits his prime. If all goes well they’re like 2 years from legit contention, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the WCF this upcoming season either.

Holiday can fit in with literally any team. His skill set is amazing for any contender and his personality is great for young teams as well. Any team in the league would be lucky to have him.

Glad you mentioned the Kings. They need to make a move, but Murray can't be part of that deal. Jrue gives them some veteran, championship experience. Barnes did also, but Jrue is a big upgrade. PS. Don't sleep on them getting Sasha Vezenkov to come over to the US. He's not an all-star, but he's a guy who can explode for 40 or 50 a few times throughout the season. His shot can give them some point explosions they lacked last year.

How can you say the two timeline plan failed when the dubs gave up on it so early? I’d say it failed because they chose to go with their aging vets rather than developing their young (cost-controlled) talent. As I don’t see any more chips in their future, this failure to build the next generation will be what they regret, especially if they trade Kuminga.

About the Golden State deal, I don't think the Trailblazers want CP3, because they have more than enough guards, and they're in a rebuild more rn, and CP3 is too old for that too.

The clips have so many forwards and expiring contracts to get the deal done. I’m not including Mann or Powell if I’m the clippers. You can deal rookie Kobe brown, Amir Coffey, Brandon Boston Jr. Or all 3 plus Morris and Roco.

with CP, GP2, Saric, Garuba, TJD, +full season Wiggins.
3rd year Kuminga/Moody is the year rookies usually step up too. Warriors need another big wing or center not a gaurd.

They give up 3 very good role players and their immediate future for a one year rental to get no closer to a title and the chances of him opting in to stay in Sacramento? I mean jrue averaged 19 pts 7.4 ast and 5.1 rebs per game while shooting 46% field and 38.4 from 3 and not to mention his stellar defense and a great locker room guy. Still a valuable piece to a win now team maybe for 2 or 3 years. So for me he is worth the risk.

Holiday has a lot of extra value since he matches up so well against the top 3 teams. Having him guard Lillard, Murray or Booker would completely change a series. The other common options for teams is to try and have a bigger wing defend those players but all three of those teams have good talented wings who would then have a mismatch against smaller players.

All these trades seem like too much for Jrue holiday but it really only takes one team to overpay like the Twolves did for Gobert. Some of these trades bring teams a lot closer to titles and at some point owners will just all out to potentially win a title. I think the Sac trade is crazy though and if I am the blazers I would consider that trade without the picks just to get Keegan.
I like the idea of Portland just continuing to trade for a player and pick and keep on stacking.

Give the blazers what they want. CP and 2 1st rounders. Go all in on winning with the group you have. Grab Jrue and sign Dwight to a vet minimum. No one will stop them if they did that.
Yeah I agree that Jrue was probably more important to the Bucks in winning the championship than Middleton and it might have been better for the team to trade Middleton and keep Jrue, because he is a better defender than Middleton. Since the offense is so much better now with Dame on the team, keeping Jrue instead of Middleton makes more sense. They are both great assets for the team but I think keeping Jrue would have been better for the team.
I also think that Portland might have a decent team if they keep Jrue to mentor their first round draft pick. I’m a fan of Ayton and think he might have a breakout season away from the Suns.

I was just saying that too. Cam Payne was released by the Spurs. Move Gary to the bench and you've got Schroder, Trent Jr, Gradey, Boucher, Porter Jr, all off the bench with that lineup you got there starting + Payne. That's a VERY solid team.
