Giannis is the only player that can have a back to back 40 point game in the finals and have a 50 point close out game along with an iconic block and dunk along the way and it NOT be talked about. If it were ANY other superstar in NBA history it’d be the talk of the century but since it’s Giannis no gives af.
People talked about it...and then the next season starts and people move on to that. It happens EVERY summer

Even though there is another player currently who averages 30, 15 and 7 other than giannis and his name is nikola jokic (on defensive he is not even close to giannis), and there is another player who makes teams change their entire defensive strategy called steph curry. But no one in the league other than giannis displays all of those attributes together, which really shows why he is undoubtedly the best player in the nba right now

What I never understood was that Giannis is the only legit big in nba history who gets killed for PLAYING LIKE A BIG. This man should play back to basket because he is a BIG. He’s arguably the most athletic tall guy in the league in terms of jumping and speed. It’s unbelievable how harden made y’all run with a narrative that Giannis isn’t skilled. People don't understand Giannis sometimes. You can say he just dunks, but you can take dunking, or driving and explosiveness in doing so. And it isn't a problem. Everyone has a stronge area. He didn't shoot much mid range, and now yes he is taking lots of them and making a lot of them. Now he is unhesitatingly shooting more threes, and using it to his benefit in some wins. Not as many big guys are 3 point shooters so it's a little non- understandable why he gets criticized for it. His behind the arch shooting percentage undoubtedly goes up each year. All that gibberish is so inaccurate and he is even improving all the 3's, FT's, and Mid range shots. His free throw percentage is rising each year a little bit, such as all his other shots. Then he even has an ultimate defensive side. He can make incredibly magnificent blocks, in which we all witness. He gets good blocks that people dont even take time to acknowledge sometimes until you see clips of it. His height is some advantage but he is a different level of good. Even his rebounds can be key, but he doesn't get as many having other players on his team that do that work such as Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis Jr.. He averages decent rebounds taking that note and can make his stride up the court. As everywhere is rising, you can even remark his passes. Learning how to pass when he can be met with a brick wall is an underrated thing for him. Easily passing out to open teammates for some extra points. He, the Greek Freak, can even yes as you might have saw, can manage 2 positions. Brilliant flexibility. He is scary for the league. Athletic, humble, hardworking, and efficent. He truly is a top NBA player, arguably all-time, but as he is in his upper 20's, he still has some potential there. Therefore goes the evidence he is the best in the league.

Good video but I disagree with the part that you say "nobody in the in NBA forces the coaches to change defensive schemes" when Stephen Curry exists in the game. That Curry dude not only changed defenses, but the entire league.
I say this all the time; Giannis & Steph are the best players in the league for the simple fact that those 2 Studs inflict so much fear on the team(players, coaches, management)that their whole philosophy for that game is to STOP THEM AT ALL COST!!!! I would say that Giannis is currently the 4th best Power Forward of all time. For me, Giannis is behind Tim Duncan, Karl Malone, and Charles Barkley. If Giannis earns another MVP and then wins another championship, then I will put him as 2nd best.

Ehh it's hard to say. Giannis' only ring came from a year in which all his rivals were decimated by injuries. Easy 1st round win, barely beat the Nets in 7 with Kyrie out and Harden at like 30%, Philly choked to Hawks who were not an ECF level team, and finally they vs the suns in the NBA finals, who got there by also beating out injury-riddled teams.
In my mind Giannis still has something to prove, and if he can win 1 chip in a year where not everyone in the League is injured I'll acknowledge him as the best. Right now Curry has proven he's the best player in the League. After that it's between Giannis, Luka and Jokic. I don't think Lebron's better than any of the players I just said, though he's easily top 10 in the League still.

@@Gut_Bomb Curry's worst season is an all-nba season though, and he's show in TS% and through history he's the most impactful player when it comes to winning basketball. He might not get the assist but the attention he has, the gravity of defense he pulls makes his teamates so much better. He'll readily give the ball up to Dray or someone else and score, even though the assist doesn't show up in the column its purely because of him. I feel Curry gets overlooked because his stats don't pop out on the level of someone like Giannis or Jokic but he does so much that doesn't show up on stats, which he is why he's won so many championships.
Also Curry's best teamate is Andrew Wiggins; him and Jrue are a similar tier of player imo just different positions. And that Bucks team was lucky to even take the Celtics to 7, while the Warriors manhandled the Celtics, losing only 2 games (1 of which was because Al Horford played the best basketball of his life).
So compartively the level of teamates isn't that different, Curry just elevates the play of his teamates which how much gravity he has. The only other player in history to force so many defenders to them and make it easier for their teamates is Shaq. You say his teamates are better, I say he makes his teamates better.
If Giannis ever develops a jumpshot or (more important imo) a post-game with good footwork, he's easily the best in the League. The fact he plays to like 60% of his potential and is as good as he is is just amazing in itself.

Depending on a player, their “skill set” could be a negative to their health in terms of longevity.
For example: someone who skill sets depends mainly on athleticism will fizzle out faster than those who uses fundamentals, IQ, shooting etc..

While curry is not a liability anymore , he most definitely is not impactful on defense . What I mean by that , is that you CANT rely on him to guard 1 on 1 a great offensive player and get you a stop . I can’t believe how good Gianni’s is getting. He improves every single year. Everyone thought he wasn’t gonna get good at shooting. And OMG 😱 he’s gotten really good at shooting. He’s so good. He’s just gotta get consistent!!! Once he does he will be unstoppable!!!

@@jasonmoukala8909 his midrange has literally improved every year. he was shooting around 35% a couple years ago and this past season he broke 40+%. he's also become a much better passer, would have way more highlight reel assists if their shooters didn't brick a wide-open 3 so often. just tell us you don't watch bucks basketball, you really know nothing

@@micahkiyimba8641 it really didnt tho. The Celtic defense stopped everybody other than Giannis and curry. Giannis averaged better stats and would have won if he had kris Middleton on the team. He took them to a 7 game series without their 2nd best player and a lacking team. Plus they also doubled and tripled teamed him with all of their players healthy.
