I remember people clowing Brandon Miller for saying he liked PG13 but he actually plays like him I'm happy for the guy. Keep up the good work Casey.
he said pg was his goat 🤣
but yeah you're right he was overhated
@@octaveg8056 definitely overhated, but I still don't think he will be a superstar type player. Maybe like a fringe 1 off allstar type
@@octaveg8056it fine for pg to be his goat. It’s his favorite player. He was wasn’t he was thee goat, or the best player
@@MrE_You’re severely underrating him, in my eyes he has the potential to be a 3rd best player on a championship team maybe 2nd if he gets better on the defensive end. Bro is shooting 38% from 3 with half of his shots coming off the three and he’s only a rookie give him time to refine his defense and offense and he’s gonna be a top 2-3 guy on a championship worst case scenario for him he’s a good starting role player
@@GriefingGamer a lot of the time the 3rd best player on those teams are a fringe or 1 off all star type players. He does have the potential to be a number 2 and a more than 1 off all star player but you basically said the same thing as the other guy lol
Also one thing to note, not only did the Warriors get a steal with Podz at the 19th pick but we got a steal at the 57th pick too with TJD!
I’d put Trace Jackson Davis on here too 🔥 never seen anyone block Giannis that much in a row 😳
definitely would be the biggest mover on this list. Went in the 50's, should've been around the 20's
Bro 4 times dudes a beast
He was like the 57th pick. He’d be top 20 in a redraft. I see the potential.
Kerr is an idiot for barely giving him any minutes even though the Warriors are undersized and hes proven to be able to defend other big men (like Giannis) and be a lob threat for Golden State.
@@shadoka9409 i think he's seeing it now, especially since CP3 is back in the lineup. more opportunities for Lob City.
Draymond said something like "I don't need to point defensively for Podz, he's already where we need him to be".
TJD should be in the 1st Rd and a definite steal.
GG Jackson is by far the biggest mistake of the draft. How he went 45th overall is something I can't comprehend.
Ong
vaping breaks
when scouts hear about “attitude problems”, the stock drops dramatically
@@cryisfree510factssss
I'm a grizz fan, I think he's good, but he has a lot of inconsistency. I get that he's very young, the youngest in the draft, but some nights he'll get below 6 points on bad efficiency theres also a rumor he vapes, if that's true he might get worse as his career progresses due to asthma.
W for not hating on Scoot. He has played off the bench most of the year and his efficiency is a lot better recently and he has dropped 30+ multiple times with good playmaking. Can easily see 15 and 7 from him next year if Simons isn't on the team anymore (As a blazers fan I'd use him to try and get Sarr)
nah he might get 20
@@BixeqeShorts Yeah I kind of lowballed it. Wouldn’t suprise me if he stays aggresive. Sharpe dropping 23ppg and Scoot like 18 would be amazing. Then our frp this year performing would be prime basketball
@@zebgunnarsson1302 i feel like scoot is literally going to have a crazy breakout year people sleeping rn
we are NOT trading simons 😭
He’s ass
2:49 that is neither Ausar or Amen bricking that 3😂😂😂

Congrats on 500k subs . I remember when you were around 200k and that felt wayy too low. Keep going!
I love your vids man keep doing what your doing wake up looking foward to these everytime you post
I am sorry, but if you actually watch Podz, he is definitely top 10, not 12
Dude you are without a doubt my favorite youtuber and thats not even limited to just basketball. I too have battled addiction, so that one video you made really hit home. Where can I listen to your podcast?? keep up the good work my dude
I love your insights on these players. 100% agree with your video and where you would place these rookies today.
Congrats on 500k Casey and please make off-season videos comeback next offseason
Another banger can’t wait to watch it
It is a myth the blazers “needed” a center but they DID already have Clyde drexler and people forget how much of a beast Sam Bowie was in college
Doesn’t matter. Passing on Jordan is still the worst draft decision in nba history
@@Romanus- seems like it worked out fine for the Rockets. If Hakeem would’ve suffered injuries like Bowie did people would be saying the same shit about them for taking him at #1 even tho he was the clear choice at the time. But since he didn’t get injured and went on to be a top5 center all time nobody seems to care. Calling a decision to pass on Jordan for a SUPER high prospect center the worst draft decision ever simply because he was horribly and unluckily injured is just lazy and displays a minimal understanding of draft processes and prospects.
In the book about MJ someone was quoted "Imagine if Drexler had Tex Winter"
Sam Bowie had already broken his leg in college. But it almost worked. Clyde Drexler is the next best thing to Jordan. Too bad the Blazers didn't have Phil Jackson.
I will also put TJD on the list.
W for not jumping to conclusions with scoot like most ppl doing
In no world does Portland pick scoot at number 3 if they had to redo it
CP3 got off to a rough start his rookie season, same with Steph. Tyreke Evans won ROY the same year Steph was a rookie.
@@SinaSoh CP3 was ROY and the New Orleans Hornets won 20 more games than the previous season.
@@MrTrak08 then who do you suggest they take instead
Bilal Coulibaly is having a better season than scoot right now and he dropped 7 spot on his list, Scott doesn't have his place at number 3
Grats on 500k. I remember you having around 30k subs when I first subscribed early 2020(around the Pandemic lockdown). The time when you're still true to your channel's name 😂.
The only NBA youtuber I've ever subbed to, always informative and the presentations are always on point.
uhhhh thompson twins were drafted at spots 4th and 5th. just an fyi
Bro I was confused
This guy is one of the worst commentators on basketball. He watches highlights and looks at stat sheets . He doesn't watch them play
And the hot take hasn’t aged well when it comes to Amen
Haha how would you mess up the draft. This guy just watch highlights. Didn't aged really well with Amen
@@aaronsansbury9514 any other examples other than getting one stat wrong?
Juan wick is fire HAHAHA 😂😂😂😂
People clowned the Mavs for not taking top guards, now Lively is the inseparable and proved to be the missing piece for the Mavs all along. As a Mavs fan I participated in clowning Nico Harrison but that man is playing 4D chess while I am playing with sticks and stones. What a GM.
People clowned the Mavs for taking one of the missing pieces of their team? Lol
That's sad
dude so agree with you on so many level except one ... Bilal Coulibaly. You underestimate him way too much. He must be right behind Jaime Jaquez.
Keep up the great work💪💪
We love you keep it up
the thompson twins shouldnt have fallen just cause of their shot. ausar's defense even as a rookie is absurd like he's a future perennial all defensive guy and yes they've been working on their shot since high school but they've never had NBA resources
What about Trace Jackson Davies of the warriors. For a 57th pick he has been great for the warriors and has really taken up most of Kevon looney's minutes.
Since February Gradey Dick has been solid. 10 ppg on 44% from 3. He’s only 20. He’s still a lotto pick in a redraft
Def not lol
@@Romanus- why def not? You provide no reason
Good video
Where tf is TDJ? this man was able to BULLY Giannis.
Who?
@@cbhooped The man that block Giannis 3 time and block him twice on the same play
I just love the optimism in this guy. Too early to count out scoot💚
I'm a warriors fan. I see Podz, I click.
The best re-draft has the top 5 picks staying the same and I’m sorry that there is no other way to do it
1. Wemby
2. Miller
3. Scoot
4. Amen
5. Ausar
fire vid🔥
Love the content, as always
Maxi Kleber is the third most important player on the Mavs
Bruh no love for TJD???
not sure if you just focused on first rounders but TJD would probably the biggest mover in my list!
Podz was a nice pick. Dudes hardwork and rebounding for an average size guy is impressive. He can make some shots too.
Thank you for finally taking about Orlando magic !! I really appreciate it
Interesting perspective, got me thinking!
Me too, I ponder life
If that isn't the most generic bot response I've ever seen 😂
I think Podziemski deserves his starting spot but I enjoyed watching him come off the bench clearly in a mood with what was going wrong in the game.
Yeah. This ranking is still on potential. Podz has the best +/- on a good team, which is not something the other rookies can say. Far more impactful than all but Miller and the Bigs.
Fire 🔥 ❤❤
Am hoops i love ur vids and your da gaot
Top tier channel
GG jackson not being here us crazy
as the title says, these young players are exposing expert
On draft day I was furious with Orlando's picks I think they whiffed on 2 ones But I have come around on black because I think there's something far more important with him then you could get guessed He he is a locker room blue guy everybody on the team absolutely loves the guy and will go to war with him That's something you just can't That's something you just can't find in NBA right now You wanna see how important it is look Orlando's in You wanna see how important it is look Orlando's in the 4th seed in stacked Eastern conference.
Dat George double alley oop was gas! NBA Jams vibes
SPOILER ALERT: Scoot is actually really good but jsut needs more time, he will pan out to be a silid palyer with more experience.
he just got released
NOVA NATION!! Knew Cam would smash it
06:40 this looks like an mj / kobe fadeaway 😮
It does
Thats crazy cuh
NBA aint ready for my guy Trace Jackson-Davis to get more minutes man got 3 blocks on Giannis and 2 blocks in a row then a lob dunk😤😤
Watching Lively as a Duke fan, I knew he would be much better in the NBA. He's so long an athletic. He will be a Clint Capela type player at the very least. If he develops his shot, he could be really special
Thank god my Mavs lost to the Bulls late last year. If the Mavs would have won that game, they pick 11, Chicago picks 10 and since it’s not a top 10 pick, Dallas loses that pick to NY (for the KP trade). NY, GS, or the Lakers would have scooped up Liveley. He is the perfect fit for the Mavs.
FREAK NATURE 7'5, 8 wingspan point guard skills 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Scoot is a good pick by Portland and he will develop as a good point guard and maybe a muiltple time all star
Definitely would need another season to develop more maybe but he is the point guard for the future of the blazers
JJJ down at 8 is criminal
for real
that double oop was nasty af
I like that format. How about a sophomore comparison on who developed and who didn't?!
Can you have your own projected mock draft of the the 2024 rookie draft.
i seriously didnt get how people thought picking scoot over miller was somehow a good idea.
one guy relies HEAVILY on his athleticism, is basically just not made for the nba today, and the other is basically a really good 3&D player in a worst case scenario. a guy that everyone needs. and if he actually works out hes all-nba. yeah such a hard choice.
its the blazers, what do you expect.
they probably have the worst draft record of all time, and in addition to that are GMed by a person who is only in it to return investment - which works best when you always play around mediocrity, filling the arena but nver straining budget to actually build a winning roster.
picking scoot wasnt about talent, it was about offending dame enough to make him leave.
Trace Jackson-Davis gotta be the steal for me last pick in the draft and plays with great maturity and I would argue (as a slightly biased warriors fan) could be in the lottery in a redraft he just hasn’t got a lot of minutes
You gotta love this game!
Drafting bowie over mj really wasn't portland's biggest problem during that time. Their biggest what if was not getting sabonis when they drafted him. That could have genuinely turned the 90's into blazers era. More than mj would have given their roster.
Honestly, I totally love, amen Thompson I think he fits the Rockets perfectly. He’s an excellent defender, and a really good playmaker. I think both of them can be all star level types of players I mean honestly, both of them are all ready already on all defensive team were the type of defenders, and with the way the Rockets play, I can totally see him being their point guard of the future and honestly, I totally think his jumpshot is fixable I remember a time when Kawhi Leonard was horrible and shooting in like two years in San Antonio he became average to above average three-point shooter. It takes time to mold these guys.
I'm hype for Keyonte and Podz future, Jazz finally got a young PG to developed.
they cant develop lol jazz are too selfish that they dont wanna trade clarckson and sexton to focus on markanen and their young guns
Coulibaly at 7 was a great pick for the Wizards, they even want to build around him, pushing him to 14 is madness
I will do one push up for every like
no you wont
Step it up…
Get a job
Cap
Let’s get 20k likes
Forgot Gradey, rough start to the season but he's gonna be good
Love the content, but at 2:27 you have the Thompson twins going 6th and 7th overall when they went 4th and 5th.
Why do we go from #1, #2 and then #3 to #9? That order is kinda cursed
both twins go over scoot in a redraft. more talented in the long term, and already all defense
Im soooooo slow 😂 this whole time I have been confusing Podziemski with Nico Manning 😂 when he said “warriors rookie”, I was like, didn’t he get drafted in the same draft as wiseman ? 😂 bruh, Podz is a MONSTER!!!!! Whole time I thought I was watching a 3 year player! Wild!
I saw a video before the draft a CZcamsr said Podz dad told him to look out for his son in the nba that he’ll be really good…… turns out dad was right!
Bowie knee problem started at Kentucky when tried for a dunk or tried to get a rebound landed on the knee the wrong way and never got it scoped played the rest of the season on a bum knee & the blazers paid for it thinking Drexler was it
portland already had a player like jordan drexler was there so they thought that a center was needed more they were thinking position over potential and at the time sam bowie was suspected to be good it was just unlucky bro
How can scoot have time to develop and not be a bust the Thompson twins are ? You gotta give all young nba prospects a chance to develop it’s impossible to tell who is gonna be a star or not in this league now because load management and other circumstances chillout
the thompson twins will be two of the best players from this draft easily..
Wemby and Miller 🔥
2023 draft is so special with so many talented rookies just as 2002 draft with LeBron James and D wade and other special players. Like if the universe sends every good draft every 21 years
‘Miller wasn’t a mistake he’s all-NBA’
‘It’s too early to write Scoot off’
Pick one, you cannot have both
you can have both though even if scoot works out Miller was the better pick for Charlotte
Both can absolutely be true
Nice.
I met Brandon miller even though I live in Texas I sat in front of his agent at a Denver game
Never forgot the feedback about Luka 😂😂
I'm gonna say that the biggest draft mistake was TJD. He was drafted at 59th and is easily a top 20 pink with how he has been playing.
If Podz doesn’t take a charge he gets blown by and he’s a low to the ground player , Kerr is over playing him which is helping his confidence
GG Jackson is by far the biggest mistake of the draft
Even though there were character problems, how does the number 1 high school recruit drop to 45
He’s not even playing well. Had a great game against the warriors and hasn’t done much since
Thompson twins went 4 and 5 not 6 and 7
gg jackson and trayve jackson davis
Blazers had Drexler and no one predicted MJ would be greatest every, though he did show that potential.
The best rookies are always the ones who are best prepared, and to know that you may ask, well the rookies who are the most fundamentally sound coming into the league! If you already have all the fundamentals down, you’ll have a great rookie year!
Yeah I've noticed this
That is definitely a solid lottery redraft, I can’t hate
"its a myth that they needed a center" based on what? They already had clyde drexler
one thing I would say is I feel like amen and asaur is a good pick for them because of how fit they is on a roster. Amen got pick for the spot that kpj leave after they trade them. Asaur is a high level of defensive player who can grab 10 rebounds per game, he is the smaller version of aaron gordon at the dunker spot by how he grab those off reb. Amen on the other hand is a triple double potential player who can develop as a westbrook type of player that can be houston future point guard . So I don't think that they should go lower.
As a Laker’s fan I’m still pissed we passed up on Cam Whitmore🤦🏾♂️ he should be wearing yellow and girl
Hawkins is underrated. He's shooting good already on his rookie year
AM, I like the picks but you missed Trayce Jackson-Davis!
Trayce Jackson-Davis at #57 has got to be the steal of the year. That fella would be a 1st rounder today, if not a lottery pick.
😂 KESSLER no hops 🐰 Miller went up he went up AFTER AND CAME DOWN FIRST 😂YIKES 😱
Jackson Davies is special bro
