They’ve competed together in events that require 50-plus hours of cycling with no sleep. How’s that for togetherness? We've been married 50 years and ridden tandems for 25 years, over 70K miles. It is often said that a tandem will drive a relationship in whatever direction it is already headed. If it is "miserable", you better stop now.

John and Ann are the real deal and friendly riders. I believe that they 'flew' up a hill near Boulder, CO and passed my wife and I on our tandem bike, like we were standing still! As they passed by, he gave a friendly "Nice Bike" greeting. Very classy and accomplished couple. By the way, their tandem bike was much nicer!
My wife and I bought a tandem road bike a couple years ago and absolutely love it. We have found that most tandem owners are older (50+ and retired), but we are in our early 30's and enjoy riding together on the tandem more than we do on separate bikes. The tandem is an absolute missile on flats and downhill runs, but we are still getting used to climbing hills together.

Great! My wife and my are Japaneses road tandem bike riders but can’t run fast as you. Our average speed of 160 km is only about 22km/h. You are much faster. Your Dancing techniques of tandem bikes are very nice. Thank you.

Some are just fearless, especially on a tandem (big wheelspace and 100kg more weight than regular bike make it harder to steer).
I found very interesting the fact that you chose the back brake as the main one. I rode about 10000 kms in a tandem (Portugal) and our main brake was on the front wheel, we just had a V-break on the rear.

Actually, it's not like that. Flats and downhills require faster, lower-strength pedalling, while uphills are slower but more forceful. Some people prefer the latter, some the former. Gears can only do so much for evening out the difference.

This bike was really easy to assemble czcams.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.
