- This time we are in Benissuera in the Valencià region and we meet the angriest Frau ever.
Why did so get so furious so fast?

What we do find out is that we are staying on an incredible free village aire, join us to find out more
great vlog guys. loved the drone footage too. wow you hit jackpot with the free aire. Wonder if the elderly Frau didnt want to be seen as perhaps the Herr was not in fact her Herr. Ha Ha. Hello watched the film on Valencia yesterday much enjoyed.the park was built in 1957 following the floods and river diversion and continues today past the opera house and now going towards the port it will extend to 25kms eventually so big. Valencia is also European city of flowers in 2024 so well worth another visit. Regards Conrad

Oh dear young Redders , I once upset a German when we took a rally to the Rhine valley , went to catch a boat for a Rhine trip when we were barred from going do😅wn the gangway by a very angry old German guy . We had a stand up face-off when a crew member came to see what the fracas was all about . Then he pointed to the boat behind and said Seine Schiff ist hintern. You've got it , we were on the wrong boat . Great vlog guys , you're getting close to us , we're still in Benicassim , due to leave next week , take care young Redders's , love from the old Redders's .

Hi Iain, we always do a scan and nothing to worry about , there weren’t any pine trees around, the only place we saw them was near Zaragoza 🙂👍
Hi Paul and Corrine, was nice meeting you at the Benissuera Aire, never in a million years I thought we gonna bump into you guys, small world. Our van is in your beautiful drone footage of the site. After you left, one of the unimog ( Dutch couple) stayed over night. Stayed there two nights, had a bike ride round the reservoir, some shores were full of tortoises, herrin, egrets, and other birds. Just bliss, then next day we drove to Xativa, and then Onda. Now at Cambrils, and we seen on the news snow in Huesca. Where did you guys crossed the Pyrenees? We set for Somport, and do have the snow tyres. All the best from us and safe travels,👍👍👍 we may see you again.

Hello couple, it seems that you are going to visit Valencia, possibly you will find her a little sad since she is currently mourning the great fire that occurred on Thursday with 10 fatalities and some 300 people who have lost their homes and possessions. If it weren't for this misfortune, It would currently be at the beginning of the Fallas. Greetings from Valencia (Spain).
Aww it’s so sad , we saw the news and it was so upsetting , we did visit València the day before the tragedy , a beautiful city , which now has to recover from such loss ❤️❤️🇪🇸❤️ our hearts go out to them all ❤️

Isn’t this aire fantastic. We love it here, and only an hour from home so a great weekend retreat for us. The token for electricity buys you 3kw of electric, so it will last for as long dependant on your usage

Loving watching the videos they've been great, I noticed the dogs off lead a lot have you had any issues regarding the prosession catapillars also did you get collars for the sand flies for them.
Hi Paul, we’ve seen the nests in the trees,usually pine 🌲, so we keep well away , they are about unfortunately , but only seen them in northern Spain , we use seresto collars for fleas and ticks, the sandfly is an injection, and it does make them a little ill ,so we didn’t bother ,we also kept away from most beaches .. ❤️🙂🥰🐩🐩🐾🐾

Welsh woman who lives in Germany, here. I thought I’d try to shed a bit of light. It wasn’t personal, but can be really freaky. German privacy laws and also the sense of privacy invasion are quite strong when it comes to filming. There‘s a lot of resistance to social media here. You cannot show a licence plate in a youtube video, for example. I know Germans like to escape the world when they camp, and they tend to explode rather than ask nicely, as they are used to people not being particularly nice. If the law isn‘t on your side, you have almost no chance of someone making your life more comfortable.
It‘s best to stand your ground if you‘re not doing anything wrong.
(Why do I feel like apologising for a random German woman 😂 Obviously, I‘m still very British….)
😂 I do understand and politely explained , certainly in Spain the laws are different , and drones / cctv / dash cams and mobile phones do record so much more 🤭; but as you say there is a way of explaining your discontent, and well, you know the rest, my German didn’t quite stretch to explain, but I never saw her again and her husband was very apologetic and very pleasant, but he did have muddy boots and a shovel 🤭😂 but thanks for explaining, it’s appreciated ❤️

I had neighbours like those two. The woman was a fiend, her husband always looked sheepish because she was so apoplectic. I could suggest some German words for next time, but I wouldn‘t trust me, if I were you. Mind you, I have got two poodles, so I can‘t be all bad lol

Morning Dave ! 🙂👍 we did lose a bit of footage, but that’s ok, don’t want to upset people 🙂 I have 2 drones , a dji mini 2 and a dji air 2s , the mini is back up 🙂 the air 2s is an awesome bit of kit , however both need to be registered to fly in Europe, and to do so also means an online application via EASA ( google EASA ) it’ll bring it up, even the sub 250g drones require registering , I found the French Website the easiest to navigate , it’s a bit more complex than the uk , but worthwhile for the scenery .. hope that helps 👍👍

German people can get very angry for no apparent reason if you are not German yourself, I was cycling over the Rhine on a bridge and oh my god the abuse I got from a woman was unbelievable. I had no idea what she was saying so it was sort of weird. I just spoke back in English which made her even more annoyed. I was late for my German language school lesson so I left her to it!

Spain dont seem very welcoming for dogs and especially on beaches its really anoying. As we found out last year in northern spain
You are right, it’s possibly one of the least accommodating countries, compared to France and Italy where dogs are treated like celebrities, I think the past where rabies was a consideration has made a lot of Spanish wary (the younger generations adored the dogs though)
It’s a downside, but the rest of Spain makes up for it
@@redsgotravels I´m sorry if I sound overly defensive, but as a Spaniard, and even though I LOVE dogs, I neither think they should be treated as celebrities (?!), nor do I think it has nothing to do with rabies, since you probably had to venture deep in the mountains to find a single one rabid dog in Spain (And he´d be probably dead by now).
The reason why this is done is to prevent a few disrespecful owners to let dogs bother other people; to not be roamiang around on a beach, and find yourself trying to avoid a dog turd left by the owner, inadvertently or not.
BTW, it is required by law, since 2019, to clean dog´s piss with a bottle of water and vinegar, under penalties beyond several hundred euros. And I never saw you carrying that bottle... ;)
Other than that, I like your vids, and I´m glad you´re enjoying my country.

@@1650million AAAHH! sorry, you weren’t looking carefully enough then! then as we had that bottle with us every day!! We know it’s expected to wash down after dogs and we did so. We also mentioned the bottle on one of our earlier videos in the series.
We got the idea that dogs were feared by older generations re rabies from other Spaniards who told us that 🤷♀️

About the rabies, it might be a belief from old people. As of today, you probably have a much better chance to get rabies from a flying bat than a dog in Spain... :D
