The van floods! broken boiler nearly stops motorhome trip to Spain

- Remember that leaky boiler we had a couple of weeks ago? well after finding a flood of water in the van Redders manages to trace it back to the problem.
We visit Teruel and experience, drummers, farmers protests, car alarms and a wet van! Can anything else go wrong?

The aires in Spain are so good shame we have not got the same in the uk good news the boilers fixed , and we get our new to us van next week now can’t wait and ready for spring safe travels back up north 😊👍❤️

We were the van that was pulling out as you were blogging, sorry about that. No wonder we never spotted redders, he was deep in a cupboard!! Next time we see you we’ll come & say hello. We were going to take a look at Teruel but we got out b4 the tractors got going.

Unbelievable - I'm pretty sure we've got exactly the same problem as you on our combi. Glad I watched you before pulling the push-fit off though - I'll find out where the tank dump valve is and then try. Was there anything else wrong other than the shelf causing your issue? Our hasn't been interfered with externally, so if it is indeed that push-fit connector, I wonder if there's a washer or something that's gone in there - otherwise I'll just have a crack at pulling it off and reconnecting it tightly. I'm no plumber - fingers crossed :) Thanks for having the problem before us so I can watch and learn from you :)
There’s a coincidence ! The shelf had dislodged the pipe , and being left on all the time ( cold conditions ) didn’t help , all seems fine now tho ! :-)

Teruel is most probably the coldest cities in Spain. Famous for its ham. But some very nice villages with veryyyy good menu del dia:)

If you are heading north & thru the Rioja region, Haro is beautiful town. Shame you missed Teruel, it’s a place we have visited three times when heading in the Valencia region.

That red connector on the boiler is a pressure relief valve they get weak after awhile they are not to much money and easy to replace
Thankyou Paul, I’ll get it replaced when we get home and pop a spare in my bag, it’ll stop everything on the water side if it fails I guess ? 🙂🙂
Redders! Before you go elbow deep again: head torch and safety glasses. One squirt of nasty stuff or hot water in the eye . . . . . . Take precautions and do the sensible thing. 👍

Yes as someone said its fiestas season. They do drumming as competition and it is very intense especially if you see it in a village. It goes on for hours and their hands are bleeding sometimes. Why dont you show the view, street art, tractors and whatever is happening rather than having the camera on your faces all the time.
