Always a great episode. Michael teaches ppl who love the game to appreciate it even more w/how NFL teams function. Femi is the perfect host for Michael. He uses a great, measured, professional demeanor to bring out the best in Michael. These 2 work great together to put out the best NFL pod in the business.

@@jesselund360 Agree! Femi is like a kid looking at presents under the tree waiting for Christmas. Right now I think my biggest interest this season is how well Cousins will play for the Falcons & how well Russ will play for the Steelers.
It seems like up through the 1990s, QBs who changed teams late in their careers had limited success. They got beat up so much in their careers that most couldn’t do a whole lot. Montana got to the 1993 AFC title game but the Bills concussed him. Unitas became a mentor for Dan Fouts at the Chargers. Joe Namath barely played for the 1977 Rams. But Kurt Warner, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady & Matt Stafford went to Super Bowls & only Warner didn’t get a ring. Favre, like Montana was good with the Vikings his first year but the next season he got banged up a lot. I’ve always felt like Kirk Cousins was best at putting up stats against average teams but couldn’t carry the team in big games but he did play pretty well last season until he got hurt. He led a huge comeback. It’s like when things start going bad for the team Cousins shrinks at times. I don’t know anything about his Falcons OC His Achilles shouldn’t be a problem unless the other one is about to snap. I just remember him taking some time to get used to the Vikings offense when he signed that big free agent contract w/Vikinhs after leaving Washington. I guess they have 3 seasons to get the best out of him. I think it will either go really well or really bad with no chance of in between. Can’t wait!!
