Even if we can re-ship the correct item, what if the company does not have a timeline of when the item will arrive? What if the company advices the customer return the wrong item to the store and have the item they wanted re-ordered? Waiting for the refund, while paying for a new order for the same item.

Oh...this is so nostalgic! This makes me miss taking in calls and speak with different types of customers. I had been working in a BPO for quite a while until I finally shifted to my profession. Wow this is precise. you disclose all the possible scenarios that we may encounter in the real world. dealing with those irate customer is not a joke. you have to maintain your composure everysingle call that you take, in order to resolve the issue of the customer perfectly. abide to the rules and call flow of the account and your good to go.
