This is going to be the biggest war you will ever see in the new Hearts of Iron 4 DLC.
It's time for Russia aka the Soviet Union to go up against the whole world in HOI4 No Step Back!
This is the second part of the this Stalin Soviet Union campaign in which Tommy is trying to get all the possible achievements he can.
The HOI4 100% Series returned since the release of the new HOI4 DLC, No Step Back and so has returned the pain Tommy has to endure in getting 100% Achievements in HOI4!
Make sure to watch the 1st part (link at the top) to see what happened in the first one, it's a lot about the purges and early game of the new Soviet Union.
After a great start in the early game, New Russia is ready to go to war with the world and Tommy aka Stalin is going to lead it into greatness.
One Step Forward Achievement, We don't really like statistics Achievement and The Pope? How Many Divisions does he have? Achievement have all been gathered and it's time to get some more in the progress of getting all HOI4 achievements.
The Soviet Onion and Around Eurasia in 80 Days Achievements are the goal for this video.
Besides the whole Soviet Union Achievement Run thing, Tommy is just generally going to be playing the New Russia to see how to play it and to see what has changed.
No Step Back DLC is honestly a 10/10, so it's some really fun changes!

The most entertaining part of all this is watching Tommy fail to admit to himself that he's not as good as he thinks he is hahaha like banning his chatters for being right over him. 12:10 he had green air and 0 CAS despite having 600 in the region bc his CAS was set to day flights only and that battle screen was during the night XD. I saw the stream.
I would love to see how many people disliked the video because he's a spastic when it comes to being wrong (I'm one of the guys who disliked), but it would be interesting.

Actually the most fun game I've had in this DLC was as Estonia. They actually have the Focus to make the Nordic Empire. So you can conquer the Baltic, core all of that then conquer Scandinavia and core ALL that to.. as Estonia with the starting pop of 1.2mil.
Not to mention that they get 40 factories by '39 for some reason...

Tommy, there are still tank roles (SPG, TD, AA) when you unlock their gun tech and put the gun on your tank design, there is a drop down box to choose the role. TD needs the fixed turret etc

Supply depots are way too expensive.Like it should take some time to make a big one that can supply a whole army group. But making a small one to support 10 divisions or so shouldn´t take that much time.

at 12:10 i'm not sure if this applies, but what i've seen changed in the new update, is that CAS bonuses take effect now on 2 conditions, 1st to obviously be in the air zone, and what i think is new is that the CAS itself needs to have enough range so that it actually reaches the tile where the battle is happening.
don't quote me on that if it already existed or it's in the patch notes as i have not read them!
