I had terrible nerve pain. I gradually increase my dose of vitamin C up to 14,000 per day and within two weeks my pain was gone! Over the next several months I slowly lowered my dose to 3,000 per day. It's been 9 years and the nerve pain has never returned.

@@marlow3884 there's nothing wrong with synthetic vitamin C. Getting 14000 milligram per day from a natural source could be very expensive. Natural sources of vitamin C often come with a lot of sugar which you absolutely don't want.

I started out with 500 mg capsules and worked my way up to 1,000 mg . Just as the doctor suggested I split the doses up throughout the day . @@KevsGuide
I've been taking vitamin c for over 20 years and I can honestly say I haven't been sick had the flu, running nose, congestion... nothing in over 20years
If only Dr. Mandell had been advising us on t.v. nonstop the last 2+ years how much happier & healthier we would have been.

drink lemon water before brekkie every morning..lemons are full of it...also eat a raw yellow bell pepper every day..it contains 3x the daily amount needed of C

Lemon water is great but when you're sick and you need high dose vitamin C you can't drink enough lemon water.

I make a habit of eating 1-2 cups of blueberries and a glass of orange juice a day. PLENTY of benefits beyond the immune system too.
Love your work Doc. Last year I was in hospital for more then a month, with big black lumps, all over my legs and one leg even this black, people were sure it would have to be taken off completely ! Also i was unable to make the shortest walks, for just a few steps even, would make me completely out of breath and my legs would just be unable to keep me standing up. For weeks doctors applied a battery of tests, all came back as if there was nothing wrong with me, which completely baffled everyone, for I was clearly very, very ill. After 3/4 weeks they finally nailed it down to... Scurvy !
And it took them such a long time to find out, for I was the only patient in the Netherlands for decades with this, they just weren't looking for it. And after giving me high doses of vitamin C, I slowly got better, even though after a year now, I'm still not back to who I once was. It was all my own fault off course, for severe and prolonged loneliness had made me eat really badly, with hardly any fruits and/or vegetables for a long time. And me being a retired teacher and all, I off course knew to take my vitamins, and so I did take multi-vitamins pills always. These pills contained all different vitamins, but only very small doses of vitamin C and apparently I didn't realize that. Still it is very difficult for me to eat enough fruit and vegs, but I get a mix of vitamins through pills now and the high doses of vitamin C pills daily has got me back to my feet. So please everyone, if you lack fruit and vegs, at least take enough vitamin pills, and extra vitamin C, for without them, I wouldn't even be here to tell you this !

@@hitchyourwagontostar Really, don't worry, the Netherlands is one of the safest places on earth (hands down), especially when one wants to travel here, by push bike. My story is just an unfortunate exception to the rule, so is scurvy here. 👍🙏✌

Vitamin D works for me..
My husband has nerve damage throughout his body & his neurologist prescribed 10,000 mg of vitamin C a day to shorten his illness from covid-19. It worked great!
I was on prednisone for over a year. It bleached even the pigmentation of my skin...my complexion became lighter. I developed Cushing syndrome and at this point antibiotics affects me even simply vitamins I can't tolerate.All this happened after wrong diagnosis which was just a unique DNA pattern.
So now almost everything affect my system. It's like my immune system is always very low.
Vitamin c 500/1000mg is my medicine almost everyday. With prayer, vitamin c and natural herbs that's used as flavoring for meats and different dishes I've seen results. I had BP reading of 180/115 and pulse of 148 to 150+ and that's stabilized now.

He reminds me of what Dr. Oz did for many years on his show. I enjoyed his show, would DVR it regularly. Oz always recommended exercise, sleep, good diet, you know, the basics, and often discussed medical & nutrition research studies all the time. Oz had many critics, and all of them had one thing in common: They never watched his show.

I read Dr Linus Pauling in 1930s or 1940s treated diseases with 50,000 units of Vitamin C. I do not know if there are any holistic doctors doing this.

You gotta use kiwi, orange, lemon
The fruit just doesn’t hit the way it used to. Berries still taste the same though

After learning about your videos through Tik Tok, I have changed my diet and lifestyle. I am down 15 pounds over two months and feel so much healthier. Grapefruit after my workout is the best!💪🏽
At 2 for 5 dollars, I just can't afford them anymore. I will get some in bottle form from stores.
@@whatsapp7259 Well, I read that potatoes have more vitamin C than most citrus fruits. So even though I can no longer afford grapefruits, I can afford potatoes. A big bag is like 3 dollars. I wash and cook one or two in the microwave. Too hot to cook in oven, but I do it that way when its cold out... get to eat that potato skin as well as warming up the house!
Me too I’ve been eating grapefruit everyday and after my workout every other day. Expensive but well with it.
