David Wilkerson was a great man of God. As soon as he said..... They crucified the Lord and it pricked their hearts, my heart was pricked... Anointed man if God. We need more preaching like this... I repented..I called into the Lord, and I trusted Him with my most honest confession...I was laid so bare, so brittle, so broken, so rid of guilt, so released...so free from my obstinate pride..relieved from this burden...leaving the devil beaten and powerless with no angle left or door open to give him authority...my ministry revived, my soul bathed in repentive tears, cleaned by the Blood of Jesus...REPENT!!! REPENT!! I did and now repent easily, humble, easy going, happy and kind! It changed me!!! I found He loves me ,when I repented!!! Trust the Lord ...become new!!! I hated repenting, but my pride is gone now...I only love now!! Praise the Lord...

However, there's the Times Square Church website and many many ppl God is using, to post Rev Wilkerson's messages. I know, for me, listening to this man of God has changed my life!! When I first started listening, I was sure that the WHOLE WORLD must be hanging on the edge of their seats, hanging on every Word!! It's so sad to think that it might be only a few who listen. I was honestly sorry many times. But being sorry isn't the same as true repentance. Finally grieving my sin, and understanding how much it grieves God, not a hoop to jump through to heaven but something that really hurts my God; then and only then was I done with the sin that beset me.

Asked one of the pastors at the church I was attending why sin and repentance wasn’t preached. His answer “that doesn’t get people in the door”. I no longer go there. Still searching for a Gospel preaching, expository preaching , repentance preaching church. No luck yet 😩🙏

I attended a church that asked this exact question! I went to this church hoping for a message from the Bible but the entire service was set on” how can we draw 18 to 29 year olds to church? What type of music & preaching????!!. I was so upset I never went back.
Yes sister, sadly I have went through the same thing. Recently went to a church and spoke with the pastor and 2 deacons. No repentance, gave me the scripture in Romans. I had a whole page of scriptures about repenting. Then the pastor that was visiting preaching about giving business cards to bring people into the church. It was sad. One church I went to the pastor said he wasn't going to talk about the last 3 verses in Psalm 1 because it was negative. Couldn't believe he said that. Another church I went to had a disco ball and most of the women were wearing short skirts and even had phones out recording the pastor 🤦 I came to true repentance after listening to brother Ray Comfort on YT. Fell on my face in tears like I never had and asked God to forgive me and put my trust in Christ Jesus. I haven't been the same since.. Glory be to God
And now there are those trying to preach a different repentance. Not a repentance from sin. They bring Christ into open shame and nullify the cross. Did Jesus die for nothing? No! He died to take away the sins of the world. Repentance is not works, foolish people! When I was a sinner I was intentional now as a saint I am still intentional on doing His will. But the deaf and blind don’t know God neither do they know his voice. As for me and my household I will serve the Lord!
While I appreciate this and other similar messages I continue to struggle with sins. I often feel my case is hopeless! Or maybe God has given up on me!
Hi Michael. How are you going now as I see you posted this a year ago? I'd like to encourage you even though you sin it doesn't mean you are not a Christian. This message actually preaches a muddy gospel and teaches the wrong meaning of repentance.
True were saved by grace, through faith. Our mistakes dont condemn us. But Jesus did also say though, those that work iniquity and offense would be cast off though, but yea God is merciful, but true repentance bears fruit and works Christ in you over time.
