The world lost a mighty man of God, but Heaven gained a saint! We need men like these to speak the word of God to a dying world. These days these false prophets are being raised up everywhere preaching a false message that says only what God will do for you and how much he adores you and how he wants to make you great and prosper in this world. People are thinking they are saved and are dying and going to hell. Thats ruff to say and ruff to hear, but it's the bible people!…we have become offended by God's world. We can't say hell or sin or repentance in the church today. Lets pray the Lord sends men of God who fear him into the world for his harvest...
And it's not just the Baptist churches either. He seems to have a problem with all Baptists churches. False doctrine, apostasy and all other ungodliness can be found in any church no matter what they call themselves, including the Times Square congregation he pastored. I have never heard a man of God quite like brother Wilkerson. I feel like God allowed me to find these awesome messages so that I can grow in faith,, understanding and be the child of God that I'm meant to be. I've been saved for 40 plus years but I've never felt the growth that I feel now.
I'm so glad I found this channel. I graduated Teen Challenge 10/29/89 and most of my tapes have broken from use. Ahava Jerusalem has a great collection as does the Times Square Church website and a few others. Your uploads are very much more recent. My real dad died when I was 13 on 3/1/75. Brother David died in a car accident 4/27/2011..not too long after this meeting was taped from what I can tell. 🙏 Thank you. Great quality videos, ...I still love the old grainy ones from TSC and the uploads of all the audio tapes I used to have on cassette. John ace Clendennen? I've honestly never heard of him before. But I won't deny that Pr. Wilkerson was a true prophet and still missed. I also now enjoy teaching videos by a pastor in WI with a similar anointing, Pr. Thomas Terry.
When I was 12 years old I heard a preacher on the television set who talked about the death of Jesus and his blood and I realized that the church my grandmother took me to never talked about that. So I told my grandmother I didn’t want to go to her church anymore and I got on my bicycle on Sunday mornings and biked out to visit churches. at age 15 I ended up at a Baptist church where I would stay for a couple of years. The whole time I was there people made me feel unwelcome. The youth pastor told me I was rebellious and that I needed to wear a dress and when I came the next week in a dress he told me that the dress didn’t make any difference and I was still rebellious. Rebellious or not I was at the church every time the doors were open and I prayed and fasted and wrote songs and sang them before the church. The only person who seemed to love Jesus was my Sunday school teacher and she would talk about Jesus in the sweetest voice and big tears would roll down her face and eventually she and I met at her house and we received the baptism of the Holy Spirit spontaneously. The next Sunday she was gone and the church would not talk to me about her and the youth pastor came to me and told me that I was going to die and go straight to hell if I continued on this path. Nevertheless I wrote a song about the Pentecost experience and sang it before this Baptist church before leaving them for the charismatic movement. The charismatics were also problematic and I was always waiting for them to say let’s go to the streets and preach and save people but the most they would do is gather used clothes and send them to Africa. One of the young men in the church told me he couldn’t marry me because his mother said I was too fat. (I was not too fat, by the way. I just didn’t look like Twiggy.) And another young man told me he was deeply concerned about me. I’m not sure what that was supposed to mean. So 40 years later my question is did any of these people bother to pray for me? And if they were deeply concerned did they pray and fast for me? So now it’s my turn and I don’t want to fail Jesus and I don’t want to be the one who doesn’t go the mile or the extra mile. I don’t want to be the one who doesn’t love enough, who doesn’t pray enough or fast enough and somehow misses the anointing. But honestly we, the church, make Satan‘s job super easy. We are sometimes worse than the devil because we pretend to care when we don’t really and we pretend to be holy when we’re not and we pretend to love God and we truly do not because if we did love God we would follow his commandments. If we loved Jesus we would live the life that Jesus lived and we would do the things that Jesus did and even greater things. It’s really just that easy.

Maranatha SOS - I am sorry you were mistreated by the church, I apologize for those in the body of Christ who have hurt you. Many times the church gets too religious and become like the pharisees and go by appearance, works, materialism, offerings, etc. but God looks at the inside. He wants us to come as we are. The Lord knows you’ve had a heart for him and that’s why you’ve seeked him since you were a child. We draws close to those who draw close to him. I pray that the lack of love from the church hasn’t pushed you away from God. People will let you down, but God never will. He loves you and has had his hand on your life since you were young. It was a long time ago but nevertheless it did hurt very much so and for a while it did deter me from God. my only prayer now is that I do better. My mother failed me very badly when I was a baby and I never saw her, not even a picture of her. And the things my family told me about her made me very sad but when it came time for me to be a mother, I became the best mother the world has ever seen. Is it suspicious that a tongue of 25 seconds is interpreted for 3 minutes? Genuine question. I've seen this often. It makes me suspect people are just speaking from their own hearts and minds. I've also seen 2 people jump up to interpret and then and 1 sits down giving the floor to the other. And I have wondered if both interpretations would have been the same? I believe in the gifts but when people go on and on interpreting I start to doubt the interpretation as there's no way the tongue speaker said that many words. But I concede I don't know how much meaning each sound contains.

Maranatha SOS - I am sorry you were mistreated by the church, I apologize for those in the body of Christ who have hurt you. Many times the church gets too religious and become like the pharisees and go by appearance, works, materialism, offerings, etc. but God looks at the inside. He wants us to come as we are. The Lord knows you’ve had a heart for him and that’s why you’ve seeked him since you were a child. We draws close to those who draw close to him. I pray that the lack of love from the church hasn’t pushed you away from God. People will let you down, but God never will. He loves you and has had his hand on your life since you were young. God bless you my sister and know that I love you as I am a brother in the Lord. God bless you and thank you for sharing with us.

my only prayer now is that I do better. My mother failed me very badly when I was a baby and I never saw her, not even a picture of her. And the things my family told me about her made me very sad but when it came time for me to be a mother, I became the best mother the world has ever seen. So hopefully my experience in the churches will make me equally as determined to be the best possible lover of God and people that the world has ever seen since Jesus and David Wilkinson. Smiles. I never heard of this General until after he had already passed away but I thank God for his ministry and transparency...His REALNESS. Seems he had the heart of a father to chasten with love.

This is such a deceptive teaching totally contrary to the Word of God. 1 John2:27 "As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit--just as it has taught you, remain in him." The anointing REMAINS. We have the anointing. Permanently. All of it. It no longer comes and goes on 'selected' individuals as it did in the Old Covenant. Ours is a better covenant with better promises. Jesus said He would never leave us. He sits on a throne - not a swivel chair turning away from us and then back to us when we do something bad then good. His face is ever towards us and He is ever making intercession for us.

Is it suspicious that a tongue of 25 seconds is interpreted for 3 minutes? Genuine question. I've seen this often. It makes me suspect people are just speaking from their own hearts and minds. I've also seen 2 people jump up to interpret and then and 1 sits down giving the floor to the other. And I have wondered if both interpretations would have been the same?
I believe in the gifts but when people go on and on interpreting I start to doubt the interpretation as there's no way the tongue speaker said that many words. But I concede I don't know how much meaning each sound contains.
