- In this weeks video, I got my hands on a 2015 BMW 335d M sport Xdrive. A real powerhouse amongst saloons and whilst driving it I ask myself the question "Why would buy an M3, when you can have one of these?".

I've had one of these for 4 years and have to say it's hard to find any fault with it. If you want high performance, good fuel economy, comfort, sportiness and luxury build quality all rolled into one, this is the car for you.
I’ve had a 320d for a couple of years and I love it. Could do with a bit more power though and that 6 cylinder diesel sounds awesome =)

I have the touring f3 335d xdrive, before that the 330 e91, they are absolute great cars. This car can do everything, be a sportscar, a suv, business car, family car, you name it. Seats are very comfortable.
What year. I wanna buy one but worried about reliability
best car in the world. power, looks, cheap to insure and tax. 313bhp with a £100 re-map to 370bhp. Why buy anything else?

Thanks for the review, one of many I watched a year ago which led to me ordering my F31 335d. An awesome car, especially with a remap. So glad I waited for the Shadow Edition though... looks-wise it’s a much prettier car. Comments about active suspension baffle me, but maybe they drive theirs on the track. Mine doesn’t have it and the handling is exceptional, even on the stock Bridgestones. All-round amazing car

I love diesels for the midrange torque it suits my driving style. I've not driven one but I've driven a a6 3 litre bi turbo 310bhp version. Bigger heavier car but would still remap it since it puts the power down soo effortlessly
Agreed! You can’t compete with the torque from diesels!
Iv kept my old car bmw 120d msport coupe 2011 e82 had it 5 years and it’s been brilliant so Iv done loads to keep it original and going to store it
All the haters on here are obviously not going to buy this car or haven’t had one. I get criticism is important but not in a negative way. I mean whats the point?

It’s a 2015 335d GT msport x drive for £16500 black with white seats test drive Saturday Iv tested the M3 and m4

Just out of interest what did you get in the end? My guess is the m4 lol. I have a 335d gt xdrive msport . Nice car. But would of loved an m3 not going to lie lol
@@barrywatts8501 I got the m4 black badge one 2016 plate for £550 a month. I did like the GT Did try the grand tour 4 series too But for the extra £100 a month had to get the M4

So the gearbox is a very "similar setup" to the audi DSG lol. Apart from being totally, completely, vastly different.

Diesel will have more torque, less hp and better fuel economy over the gasoline (petrol) version.

As good as these diesels are they will never make you feel as good as when you buy a performance petrol car,,,i.e the M3

Diesel is currently priced a lot higher in the UK so I don’t think there is a lot in it to be honest, plus there is extra tax implications now for buying a diesel car.

Don’t be daft you can’t compare a Diesel to a real M car. An M3 is a better car despite how good a 335D . It’s a different driving experience

It certainly does, personally I would say a 335 d if you still want performance, otherwise A4 TDi is a great commuter

I do agree with you on this video, probably just nerves mate. Even though I speak to a camera on a weekly, I still sometimes find it hard to come up with constructive feedback on the cars... Thanks for pointing it out though, I'll try my best not to in the next one.
