Its amazing at least for me how he still keeps that shy way of expressing himself while being one of the most well known musicians of what? 5 fuckin decades almost? This man is the reason that got me into the eyeliner since I was a child. Can't help but love him.

I know that not every song, but still there are those in which he expresses what he feels, so we can say we love what he expresses. The way he makes music, and how it behaves in interviews and making of .. makes me love him. I wish I could make this clear to him ...
Well said!....My husband (not a fan) has asked me to explain what it is that I like so much about this band, and Robert, in particular.... I told him, "I do love the music - the guitar sound, is great - but, I love Robert's singing, he conveys a lot of emotion....and the songs, are often things I can really relate to.... " That draws you in. I believe this is why Cure fans have generally been so enamored with Robert, instead of the band as a whole. The songs would not have the same appeal (IMHO) if they were sung by anyone other than Robert. Almost like baking a cake and missing an essential ingredient! I've seen them 2x and I'm really looking forward to this next tour in 2019 :-)
