- On today's episode I got to catch up with an old mate I haven't seen for a while and as suspected it was like old times. What brought us over was to check out The 55 and go a Aussie Garage Interview. His 55 Chev Belair. this car has had some amazing work put into it over its 13 year build. Stu has modified almost every panel on the body to, shave it here and pump it out there, to get it just how he liked it. The mods have been done so subtly, if you didn't know the 55 Chevy Bel Air's well you would struggle to notice. The engine bay and undercarriage got the same treatment and as a result everything has been thought about and fitted perfectly. It's running an LS Engine that has been dressed up like an old-school big block with the coils hidden under the W style rocker covers.
It's a 6 speed manual with a strange 9" rear end. All set up on an Art Morrison chassis and it handles beautifully. The Custom trim is amazing as you would expect and has the perfect combination of modern and classic. Its fitted with air con and modern bucket seats up front. Finished off in leather its a very comfortable place to be. All and all The 55 Chevy Bel Air is Truly amazing. A well thought out and outstandingly executed build. just stunning.
Now, another thing is Stu had a very important health message for men and one that should not ignored, as it could save your life and prevent your family and friends for pain. Stu has just been diagnosed with Stage 3 Prostate Cancer and he had to push the Doctors in allowing him to get tested due to his age and that does not fit the normal range that Doctors expect. He had a previous test less than 6 months ago with not results and now the second test showed Stage 3 Cancer. Stu under went surgery yesterday and we are waiting to find out the results about the Surgery and to outcomes. However, we wishes a speedy recovery and for the best outcome.
Men, don't put your heads in sand and say, she'll be right. Men's Health should be discussed and you should be embarrassed at all. Talk with your mates, Doctors or other treating Medical Professionals. It could save your life and also prevent your friends, family and partners from suffering the lose of a loved one.

Beautiful car mate and good on you for speaking about prostate cancer. My old man got diagnosed about 15 years ago, before it was a simple blood test, had a prostatectomy but the cancer had already spread. Sadly he passed late last year.
As said, it's only a blood test these days so guys get to the doctors and get tested!

Holy shit - this is one of those cars I need to have more than one like button! Absolutely stunning! I did not pick an LS engine at first glance so well done on hiding that. And I love the neat first aid and tool kit behind the little door in the boot, such a nice touch.
