- It was about time that I got around to flashing my F82 M4 with some software magic thanks to the wizards at Pro Tuning Freaks. This car is so damn fast now with the new tune. Disabling all the nannies is really where it wakes up, and it's simply addicting to drive. Huge thanks to Kies Motorsports for hooking it up with the license along with all relevant hardware to perform the software flash! Links to all their products will be in the description box below. If you have access to e85, a custom e85 tune will transform this car into an actual monster for such little money. Highly recommend

Agree with you Omar, S55 with the DCT is on a different league compared to B58 with ZF8 (great though that engine and gearbox are)

Yup the S55 really wakes up with a tune, the power difference is literally night and day. But like everything else, after a while it'll feel slow again lol

I heard the best custom tune is by Cary Jordan, both of my friends with M4c and M2c has it and man crazy power expect ~534 bwp on 93. And why did you not go straight to stage 2 is it the crank hub & cooling that needs to be upgraded?

A stage 1 on the car totally opens it up. But it really starts to show it’s let’s when you put a custom e85 tune on it. Add some pure turbos and you’re untouchable by almost everything in a straight line, (apart from built Huracan sand crazy builds of course).

decided to go a bit slower this time around with the car and focus primarily on chassis/suspension modifications. Power is the easy stuff!

Tune with down pipes at mid pipe/s is a must its so rapid from stock add a xhp dct tune its better again
I didn't know xhp offered DCT flashes, i might need to look into that

What are your bootmod3 stage 1 settings? Specifically burble, boost reduction by gear, and exhaust flap. Great video
if you don't have a catless dp you have to keep the burble under 5 according to them

@@michaelcunningham2172 charge pipe upgrade is mandatory even on stock boost it's designed to fall apart.

sir, are you aware that the S65B44TU naturally aspirated 4.0L V8 engine of the E9X M3 has 8 individual throttle bodies and sings to a redline of 8,300 RPM? I'll have you know there's nothing else out there like it, not even your single turbo can compare, thanks for coming to my ted talk

If you want sound by a super bike let me tell you there is nothing like a flashed megaphone phone bike it sounds out of this world like nothing you have seen before and 0 to 60 in 2 seconds. Your M4 is not comp ? How did u get pops and burbles with just MPE exhaust ? Mine doesnt do it sadly
BM3 allows you to have burbles regardless of exhaust. I highly recommend, they have preset and custom burble settings.
Yep! I selected the ZCP burble setting when I flashed the car which is just the comp overrun

The perfect setup I’ve found for the track is GTS tune, GTS differential tune, CS suspension and DCT.
I need to get the GTS software flashed onto my car, ive heard it helps a lot!
@@SimplyCarThings I think it comes with the free included maps for bootmod3 IIRC, just gotta plug your laptop and reflash the ecu
@@MikeyG003 @simplycarthings only the DCT tune is available like that. In order to code EDC, diff, and steering you’ll need to go through a remote coder like Alex at Alpine Tuning. THOR use to be an option but it got shut down.

You can still pass smog with a tune, you won't pass tho if you have catless downpipes.

What makes you certain ? From a technical standpoint. Just respectfully curious because I want to do this but want to sleep at night
@@number36420 crank hub spins are rare....they happen when power is pushed too much and too fast..I have stage 1 on my car and drive it hard and it has had no problems
but i will be getting the crankhub capture plate soon (planning on going stage 2 this summer) since that is an extremely economical approach and to date there hasn't been any spun crankhubs with the capture plate on...

I only put stage 1 bm3 tune and K&N drop in filters to my old 2015 f80 and the car went from 11.96 bone stock to 11.46 in a 1/4 mile which I was so shocked lol I sold that car 2 years ago and can’t wait for the stupid car market to settle down so I can get me ether 2018 M3 or 2020 M4 cp cause the new G models are so turn off. F8x are proper M car all around besides the exhaust in my personal opinion. New G8x I take only the performance and exhaust tune a little. The rest is way far from an M car.
You're crazy... you probably never driven a G8X cuz it is most certainly a proper M car lol.
Might not look as good as a F8X but in performance, handling, and tuning it'll exceed the older model. (Speaking from experience driving both on a regular basis)

Boring, synthetic, souless ya thats what those journalist said back when the F8x came out in 14. When i drove one I didnt understand how they came to that conclusion I fell in love right on the spot it has an angry and playful nature to it while also feeling a bit overpowered the torque kind of surprised me.

Swift Sport Spec R springs. Best springs for the money, and they actually provide a proper, functional handling benefit to your car
