So helpful Thanks. I was trying to do this while driving too and the flashing add new was driving me crazy. Your video is the only true video that shows how to do this on a 2013 Toyota Camary
Hi Kalie! Thanks for the video, very helpful! So on my 2013 Tacoma my system setting on Bluetooth does not appear anymore also the add/ remove is not showing up anymore. My phone does not connect and keeps saying out of range. I did the reset on the power button for 5 seconds until it restarted. And still nothing. Any ideas you or anyone have came across?? TIA!!
As far as the “out of range.” 1st remove the device completely from your phone. Turn off the phone and take the battery off so it can re-boot. When the phone is powered back up put your bluetooth in pairing mode and get it back on your phone. It should connect without any problems.
Kalie West, I figured out what I had to do to fix the Bluetooth system after reading and asking for help, I pretty much had to go in the diagnostic box and did a hard reset on it and it’s been working since
Hey all. I found a way to remove a Bluetooth device. Hit setup, Bluetooth & registered devices. Thus will show you all phones that are on it. On the right it have the remove button. Hit it then hit the phone you want to remove & follow the rest. Hope that was helpful.
Kalie West I fixed the problem, my brother n law was connected to my Tacoma and he never properly disconnected which caused a bug on my radio, meaning no other phones couldn’t Bluetooth but his. Once he properly disconnected it, my Bluetooth started working fine.
HERE’S HOW TO DELETE ANY/ALL DEVICES: * must be stopped or in park to access * Press SETUP Press “Bluetooth” box Press “Registered Devices” Press “Remove” on the right All done! Hope this helps
navaz shareef you cant change the name of the device from the Bluetooth player. The name populates from whatever someone else has their phone saved as.
There is a way to remove a device from that monitor, just go to folders, then click settings then click bluetooth then registered devices, then it will have 3 choices, add new, remove and details, click remove and you can remove device as many as you want☺️ I have toyota vios 2017 AT
To delete all scheduled Bluetooth devices you must follow the following steps Setup / General Settings / Delete personal data / Delet / P/d: Sorry for my English, I'm from Argentina

Mines not showing connect like it did and it’s said audio player is not connected
King CTW337 did you make sure your truck is in park/a complete stop mode?
You don’t have to be connected by audio, it can be connected by Bluetooth OR audio.
Kalie West I fixed the problem, my brother n law was connected to my Tacoma and he never properly disconnected which caused a bug on my radio, meaning no other phones couldn’t Bluetooth but his. Once he properly disconnected it, my Bluetooth started working fine.
King CTW337 wow good to know! TY for sharing for other users to have further knowledge.
Make sure to hand break
If you go to registered devices button you can remove a device even if there’s less than 5.
