You forgot if you are in the southern hemisphere you have to flip the filament in the other direction. Great tips.
not too worry, advancement in photon-magnetosphere entanglement have negated that previous flaw in the system
@@CanuckCreator Careful when using this with the new Quantum Flux hotends
And how would they orientate that special magnetic bed, opposite to the north? ;)
As a Swedish person it made me so happy that you featured the history and legacy of IKEA and Allan Jörgensen. I've not seen many people mention it outside of Sweden and you'll never see it online so I was surprised you knew of it. He's an innovator and a true Swedish hero that more should know of. It truly brings a tear to my eye 🥰
There is no better Swedish name than the traditional "Allan".
Actually, this is not really true (invention of the allen key) , the "Allen" key was was patented in 1909 by William G. Allen of Connecticut, USA (U.S. Patent 960,244) but actually were being patented under different names since the 1860s. Ikea didnt start creating the flat packs until the 1960's which they did invent, but the allen key existed in 1 form or another for almost 100yrs prior to ikea coming up with the flat packs
@@ericrowinsky4729 You're a bit late to the party but have you ever heard of April fools?
@@SweHam ha! now I have lol this is what happens when I do anything before my coffee kicks in, look like an idiot lol
Following these tips saved my marriage! Thank you Nero 3D!
Waiting until this gets pinned in every printing forum for beginners. With any luck on manufactures websites.
The first tip was the best! No way to over screwing!
Great tip on the ear protection, that way I can' t hear my housemates complain about the noise of the printers
One more pro tip when leveling. You need to level your level with another level first. That way, you make sure that your level is also level.
But how do you know that the level you leveled your level with is actually level unless you take a bunch of levels and average out the levelness of all the levels before leveling your level.
@@chrisgreenman5350 yes.
Man you really missed Rick and Morty perfect level space truths
@@dittagecoeco2738 That episode is pure gold
PROTIP: Unwind your spool before feeding it in the printer and straighten it out onto the floor. This to prevent the nozzle from being loosened OR overtightened. You risk stripping your heat block if you don't. Especially prone are carbon filled filaments, because the increased drag really grabs onto the inner walls of your nozzle.
I always cut a length of filament equal to what my slicer says it will take. That way I don't have to ever worry about running out of filament on a print and the nozzle never gets loosened. It also means I'm only exposing the needed filament to humidity and the spool can stay nice and dry it it's bag.
I literally forgot its aprill fools and spent 15 minutes looking for klipper voice control and scratching my head since I couldn't find it. I got fooled.
I didn't believe you until I saw those charts. Dayummm I've needed this
Hobbyists who follow these tips will be very surprised at the changes it makes to their prints!
This video is why I came to the internet today
ayo?
😂 I love 1st of April
Absolutely fantastic
Wow... That has to be the most advanced tips and trick about 3d printers i have seen. Great job Nero.
i knew about Mr. Allen, but not Jurgen Flatpack. Thanks for the history lesson!
i loved it!!!, you put down some great lines in this one! you made my day
I KNEW THE SPOOL THEORY IS VALID!
Great video! thank you so much for these tips and tricks, i will be able to print so many more things
Game changing tips. Thank you.
I feel so dumb. Now I know, and knowing is half the battle.
Best video ever! And we can see you had a lot of fun during this shooting😂😂😂❤
I've learned so much today!
Best one this year.
good vid, looking forward to printing the 2.5 parts
These are great tips. I shared it with all my friends.
Thanks for all the best tips and all those fancy sciency thingy. ❤😉
Hysterical. I didn't know about Johan Flatpack. I was wondering why my hotend leaked. I WANT the voice control.
it's so funny because every weeks i see people doing the bubble thing for real 😂
Wow! I’ve been doing it all wrong this whole time! Thank you so much Nero!
That took a second! Nice one 😂
I'm agree to all what you has said. Well done! 😀Best regards Martin
Wow. All of it is good. Great work. For a guy who doesn't like to script a video, you for sure surpass yourself!
Nicely done
😂 You got me... I totally believed you until the maglev effect tip
Not gonna lie. I was seriously trying to figure out which direction clockwise would be on a roll of filament (since it changes based on perspective) way too long.
Awesome April fools tips, love it.
I learned so many things.
Great video it's very inspirational
did you just say that vacuum is the BEST way to transfer heat?!
Imagine this video being the first one someone watches on this channel.
This was great😂
I forgot what day it was when I started this video.
"It's not what you think, but it's exactly what you think!" - Nero, 2023.
Life saving tips! 10x😂😂😂😂
Perfect! 👌Will have to remember these tips! Never knew that he had a brother named Flatpack! 😂
finally 10 tips that work ...
good story telling helps.
I live in a old house nothing is square or even i just make shure the base is level ie books printer runs 24-7 more on the way 2 broken also once in a while u get a spool that is not wound properly and binds.
Awesome tips and tricks in this video 📷 🤣
I actually want the voice control… if no one implements one soon I’ll make one. Mark my words
Jurgen Flatpack is my personal hero. He saved my marriage with his Billy book cases. 😂
One detached from the wall, fell hard and killed my wife. 😉
i believe this is an april fools video
Very interesting information about filament unscrewing the nozzle, I have Trianglelabs Dragon HF hotend with a blob that have leaked several times due to loose nozzle and I have assumed it's might be related to poor tolerances in assembly + thermal expansion. Gives me hopes that I was wrong and can reuse this hotend again.
Very goood Work , i hoop not to many People try it.
100% pure gold
😂 speechless 😂 thx man 🙂
Yout best Video so far 😂😂
Please suggest your best pick mid range 3d fdm printer... creality, elegoo, sovol... or....?
Very nice April Fools. Loved it ;)
This was great. 😂
I just saw the solution to limit the clockwise-anticlockwise filament thingy. Papa Joe P created Prusament HEXAGON filament. That would have an increase moment of inertia to counteract the issue 😂
Voice Control "NICE"
Did you know that Philips Head Screws/Screwdrivers are actually designed to strip themselves (Or "Cam-out" as it's supposed to be called), rather than over-tighten?
I thought "Pi" was the default voice command name for your raspberry pi?
Nice 1st of april video! Jurgen Allen……oh nice nice nice
Enough jargon to confuse people, bravo
Your level not as accurate as it once was - new bubbles available from your nearby hardware store. You have a choice soap bubble, double bubble, bubble & squeak. Also bubble trouble - but try to avoid that one.
LOL, that was some great content there.
@8:35 WRONG!
Get yourself a proper set of headphones WITH noise cancelling, so you can watch NERO 3D in the same tiny room where your Voron is hammering out prints at 200% speed (yes, I'm doing that right now while wearing my Jabra Evolve "cans" :P)
If your Sovol sv06 is not working with Voice commands remember to speak louder.
11 day past and I fall for that!
Thanks for the tips 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
hy Nero can i get stl file for your spool holder that you have on MZbot, thanks.
I didn't know i had my printer oriented the wrong way, i was always wondering why my filament was floating and my print bed kept rotating
Great video, Nero 3D... I laughed my ass off
Never mind. Missed the date... Well done. Still hope to see you at MRRF!
Why don't 3d printer enclosures have active noise cancelling? Couldn't you use the same technology that is used in headphones and produce some kind of counter-noise to cancel it out?
I hope the newbies check the date. 😂
I've been doing it all wrong this whole time. Thanks Nero.
Magnets... How do they work?
The only problem of this video Is that It Is uploaded on April, juuust at the Very beginning of the month 😬
How did you keep a straight face?
This is 100% real. Trust me.
OMG, LOL your just taking the smeg with this video 🤣 Also where's the outtakes??? I wanna see how many times you cracked up trying to make this video.
Outtakes? Everything here is factual and super cereal
Thank you for these titbits. I'll update things as required - LMAO!
"And prepare to fail to the next level with our April 1st ..."
think about it before you tighten that screw until you crack that plastic part
LOL! Very entertaining. Nice one :-)
You got so with the Filamet!!! It's 15.04. and i still think about this!! Nice and good fool!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha! Nice Nero 😅
Took me a while to get the joke
I already knew that Ikea created the allen key wrench..
Um, what day is it?
Will it hurt the printer
nice :D
I work overnights and often am not even sure what day of the week it is, let alone day of the month. So I gotta admit, he had me going until he got to the brother, "Jurgen Flatpack." It was then I was like....wait a minute....
Had a good LOL
Thanks Taylor for the great tips! Can't wait to see all of the comments....
i ALWAYS strip a hexscrew i hate it !
You jest, but I in fact did print a little tray for the base of my SK-Tank, with pockets for a perpendicular pair of mini bubble levels. Of course as you said, that doesn't help me level the surface the printer is sitting on :-)
I literally believed all of this until like 7 minutes in... Jesus I'm dumb.
Someone actually implements Klipper voice control via Home Assistant in 3, 2, 1, ...
So, Nero, do you like the X1 and P1P or not? Because it sounds like you think they have a fair few QC issues, but then here you say the only issue is noise. Honestly, I ain't thrilled with my X1's reliability so far. Servicing these things can be a nightmare.
QC is hit and miss. I've had a funky bed sensor and noisy fans. Some have had none. Some have had to RMA their machines. It depends
@@CanuckCreator Gotcha. I had to replace my bed sensor cable, which took about 4 hours, and I'm still getting strangely low idle bed temps reported by firmware (eg: X1C reports 17C, Prusa Mini right next to it reports 24C). Overall, it's been fine but I really want to build a Trident soon.
Is it April already?
