Great video. Temps hit the high 60’s last week. I took advantage and rinsed the truck off. I forgot to shut spigot off. Thanks for the reminder!

@@ElevatedLawnscapes I’ve a mate who lives in North New Zealand 🇳🇿- he’s just discovering the satisfaction of “lawns” I sent him a link to your channel and he’s hooked, he calls your channel ‘Lawn Porn’ 😆
Yessir! Can’t wait to watch your videos this spring! I completed my renovation in the front yard, which I was getting a lot of compliments from neighbors. Now the real test begins on maintaining it this spring/summer. I plan on overseeding in the fall.
Nice!!! Sounds like you have a good start from a successful renovation in the fall. A successful spring and summer starts the previous fall so nice job with that.
Great video , excellent information now with my 3rd year of lawn care i have an idea what works and what doesn't . Weather pattern is key and patiance hehe. Thanks..
I completely agree with your key points. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching 🙏🏾!

Already! Gotta get the people thinking...We Workin 💪🏾🌱
I can analyze in one word..."weeds." I have Bermuda grass in zone 8b, Georgia.
Using a fall pre emergent is important to prevent a portion of the amount of weeds you are seeing over the winter and early spring. The next step is to apply a herbicide to eliminate the existing weeds. Make sure you choose a herbicide that is safe for Bermuda grass.
Got that corny Steelers hat on while looking like Charles Woodson's stunt double. Raider Nation all day! LOL! Happy New Year bro.
Happy new year! Im riding with my squad to the end.
@@ElevatedLawnscapes no doubt bro and there's no fan pain like the pain of a Raiders fan -LOL
Hey, bro Happy new year. Love the video and information. I just have to get you a Ravens hat. 😆 keep up the awesome amazing work. 👏
🤣 You can keep all that Ravens stuff!!! Thanks for watching 🙏🏾!
@@ElevatedLawnscapes Alright brother. We Marylanders have to represent. 😎 I can't wait for the season to begin.
@@seedtimeharvestlawncare Yessir, I agree we gotta represent 💪🏾
Using Ammonium Sulfate for early spring app and addressing Sulfur deficiency. Newsom seed (Maryland) is out of AMS.. sources are drying up. Suggestions for new sources
Locally I do not. I am about to start searching for some myself so I will let you know what I find.
Great video and great advice. Two quick questions:
1. Are you in NC? I am in CLT and looking for a benchmark based on weather, temps, timing, etc.
2. What model Spyker do you use. I am trying to decide between the base model and Ergo model.
Thanks!
Get the EGRO model. You won't be disappointed
I'm in Maryland. NC lawn activity is about 3-4 weeks or so ahead of me except for overseeding its opposite.
I agree with Polo get the Ergo if you are gonna make the Spyker purchase.
Much appreciated. Placed my order a few days ago and just got done putting the ero together.
@J D You got that quick. Happy spreading Sir. Make sure you turn your dial down low and adjust the accu-way to get use to how it spreads
Happy New Year my brother i would like to know if you can help me get my lawn together i really like your channel and we are in the same area
Happy New Year! Send me an email at cameron@elevatedlawnscapes.com and let me know what you are looking for.
Thanks for this video. Im a subbie and enjoy your videos, glad I found you. I enjoy working in my lawn and try hard to keep it looking it’s best. This year I want to get on it when the time comes. Last season (fall), I had my yard aerated with the intent to overseed and fertilize, but had a family emergency that absorbed my attention. In short, I missed the window to throw down those things. Im concerned this year I may have a yard full of weeds because of this. Is there any advice you could give someone in my situation? I have a cool season (tall fescue) lawn where one side of it gets beaten with the sun for the majority of the day (corner lot, right side of yard gets the sun). Please help. I, like you am Northern lower part. Hope this helps. Keep the great content coming! Happy New Year!
Thanks for subscribing and watching. There are a couple suggestions for your situation.
1. You can do a spring seeding if your lawn is really bare and does not have much ground cover. I do not recommend spring seeding except for really bare lawn situations. Know with a spring seeding you will not get the same results as the fall and you will probably have a higher die-off rate during the summer. With the cost of seed it could seem like a waste in my opinion.
2. The best way to address your weed problem this year is getting down a pre-emergent early spring before the weed seeds start to germinate. I like using a split application of Prodiamine in March and May timeframes. That will prevent a good amount of the weeds but you will need to have a post emergent herbicide to address the weeds that are not prevented by the pre-emergent. My go to in spring time is Speedzone, which takes care of most broadleaf weeds.
3. As far as your area that gets beat down by the sun, you are going to have to water if you want it look good through the summer. Setup some sprinklers on timers and water. I have other videos that discuss watering and sprinkler setups. If you decide not to water that is ok, just know that the lawn will struggle then will recover when fall comes and you can overseed.
Hope this helps.
Do you dethatch to get rid of the old leaves and debris? When do you do this?
I showed and completed that process last fall prior to overseeding. I do not recommend dethatching any other time of the season for cool season lawns.
@@ElevatedLawnscapes thx. How do you get rid of built up leaves and scratch the soil a bit after winter? I have a dethatcher that effectively acts as a power rake… that is probably a more accurate description
@@CZcamsuser1aa The answer is you don't let the leaves build up in the first place. I have talked about the importance not letting leaves build up in the fall. Either keep them raked up in the fall or make sure they are mulched in good. I am not fan of mulching in excessive amounts of leaves.
I was loving the channel, loving the lawn, but then... you come out with a Steelers hat.
As a #RavensFan I think I need to unsubscribe, but dang your lawn is just too sexy.
I've never felt more conflicted than I do right now 😁
🤣🤣🤣 We can separate the lawn and football. I won't talk any trash if you don't. Thanks for watching 🙏🏾!
