Your videos are always inspiring and motivating. I'm heavy into Drambo and AUM, but I'm long overdue to truly get my head around Loopy Pro. BTW, I actually (in reference to one of your older vids) really made and continue to improve my own personal ultimate groove box in Drambo. That's the great thing about all these "host" apps, you really can customize to your heart's content. I'm 58 now and the possibilities are so limitless in ios and computers in general.

Jakob Haq - really helpful video. This made me get back into GrooveRider again. Also this is also good for an Electribe 2 user, since GrooveRider is “ALMOST” a direct digital copy of Korg Electribe 2.
2 tips for gr16: if you let the pad pressed it loops, and if you preess multiple pads at once it cycle between them so you can make longer “loops” on the fly

Also, I had no clue about that jump function in gr16. How embarrassing 😂. But maybe the best part of this video is the idea of halving tempo and adjusting the timing. I can’t believe I have t tried that with my Octatrack! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@JakobHaq you might find it interesting that I set up loopy pro just like you did and I couldn’t get the pads to respond. Gave up, which is not easy for me, went to bed. Next night I opened the same set, et voila! Worked like a charm. Didn’t change anything. Highly unusual behavior for a computer program. Why and how? I’ve never had such an experience.
Speaking of apps from the graveyard...does anyone remember this app that had a space star background...and you could slide your finger around in two zones and it cross modulated to make these crazy sounds. I thought it was "space craft" but that's not it. Is there an music app bible of sorts? What was that timeline you displayed? A history of apps?
This is fantastic - I look forward to using GR-16 to try this. One application similar to beat juggling that I have been looking to replicate on iOS, its MLR (or MLR-V) from monome. The way it could run 8 loops, mapped across 8 or 16 pads each… then let you start them a different points and even set loop points was amazing. Yet to find anything like it on iOS, or a good way to replace it with any existing setups. Would be curious if anyone’s found something like it.
Hmm, it might be possible to set Loopy Pro up for something like that. I haven’t done it myself though. Also another app that might interest you is Glitchbreaks by Alex Matheu apps.apple.com/se/app/glitchbreaks/id520451538 - it’s not quite what you’re looking for but it was designed to switch between 4 loops running at the same tempo. Time line keeps movin GB and then you switch between the loops with 4 pads. Triggering pads does not restart the timeline cycle.

Could you ask for images to be imported and used instead of colours too pleeeeeeease ❤️, and if it’s not too much trouble lol midi loops 😁. That would make it my perfect music jamming app, a row of midi loops with a picture of the synth they go to would be 😘.

It already has live quantise. But you have to enable it as an option in Settings > Extras > Advanced Quantization Options
