My baby girl had puppies and she was
rescued too. She was very skinny and our vet recommended giving her smaller portions of food, but more often. It was honestly an eye-opening thing. We are more then a year after birth and she looks like a happy sausage. She has gain weith really fast

Do you have a dachshund? I just think so bc you said sausage and they're often called sausage dogs,I have one and we call him our saucy boy :)
I wanted to recommend the same thing! especially since he's making her food soupy with the water that could help with the diarrhea issues she's been having!
Happy sausage doesn't exactly sound good but I'll just assume it's not an actually accurate description and keep my nose out of it.
this also worked with my grandma's rescue cat. She was actually a neglected siamese so she was really skinny even though she had owners. But when she got pregnant they abandoned her. So when my grandma rescued her, the vet suggested the same thing! and it worked! she had six kittens and they were gorgous

Joey, give her copious amounts of cooked rice, canned pumpkin, and cooked oatmeal. Helps to gain weight, and will help stop the poopies.

Joey, I think Mama Dog needs to go to the vet. Her constant leaking and loose stools are indicators of infection for retained placenta material. At the very least, check with the vet. it's concerning.

@@mirandapanda5439 I think its bc he has done this many times and in almost every situation he has, he mentions they leak almost everytime. PLUS im pretty sure he releases these vlogs multiple days in advance so honestly we dont know if hes taken her or not. lol

As a professional dog trainer, I would make her meals with her puppy food mixed in with chicken and white rice. This should help prevent an upset stomach. Goat milk can be a good probiotic so you could also mix that into the chicken and rice mixture.

Youâre such a good person. I love that you donât over react to the sweet mom dog destroying things when she goes outside. Sheâs such an angel & you are just terrific!
She probably has diarrhea from the amount of water your giving with her food, also feed her food for puppies while sheâs nursing, it will help her get her nutrients. Also pumpkin helps with fiber to harden her stool, you can buy it canned at pet stores or regular grocery stores ( without additives and sugar) ( edit: I typed this literally right before he grabbed the puppy food off the shelf lol )

Huskies ARE master escape artists! I used to stumble upon my neighbors husky having the time of her life rolling on her back in my front yard allllll of the time. Her Owners were baffled and no one could figure out how she kept making her great escape every time she was let out. Especially considering they had a big, wooden, privacy fence. We finally realized that she dug a tunnel starting under her dog house which sat against the divider fence and the tunnel lead to my back yard. Then she would hopped my fence to get to the front yard where she would have her nightly escapades. Needlesss to say - she got a new dog house that had a bottom bolted down to it and it sat in a different part of their yard where they could always see her. I miss those silly visits!
I love the idea of tree names, like... Aspen, Spruce, Pine, Willow, Cedar, Maple, Oak, Elm, Birch, Chestnut, etc.

The size and brindle pattern on a few of the puppies makes me think the baby daddy may be a mastiff of some sort, in which case the pups could get up to 100lbs fully grown

I would get a fecal done on momma. Your gonna have a hard time getting the runs to clear up right now as she needs so much food. Can you order one of those doggie door that just fits right into the sliding door. She needs to be able to go out during the night. You can get the pups to start lapping up formula now, to help supplement and help momma. You do so awesome with these mommas and pups! Love from one Foster to another :)

you should install a dog door for her. huskies are escape artists, so she'll get out no matter what you do, you may as well make it easier for her

As a fellow husky owner, I am far too familiar with their expertise in escaping and destroying things. One of my huskies, flooded half of my home, causing us to do major renovations. My youngest husky decided that chew toys were not his cup of tea, so he preferred to chew through a $2k custom made kennel. But I love and live for this breed. They will forever hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for being an awesome foster dad. Keep the husky videos coming.

Hi joey, I think you do an amazing job fostering all of these dogs. Maybe itâs worth sleeping in the same room as them, so when she needs to go out you can let her out. Sheâs probably getting on the bed, because they have no bedding in their little area. Its probably not very comfortable for them. Itâs just hard wood floor. X
