if you used distilled you'd cause more damage than good it's best to be done with isotonic salt solution too little salt: the nose cells pop like orbees isotonic: nothing happens too much salt: the noise cells start looking like raisins
I find it interesting that it’s only recently that we started discovering that there are some things that we didn’t even think of as being a bad thing if we do in excess but actually harmful. Like using this thing too much. Or showering too much, Even drinking too much water. That was something that for a little while was the go to Health to drink lots and lots of water, but then we found out a few years later that if you drink too much water, you actually flushed out even stuff in your body that was supposed to be good for you to have in there.
This is similar to what I use. I have a netipot and it does the same thing but it's half the price and the pack comes with everything you need. Just incase anyone needs a cheaper solution. 😇
I got my Naväge at ebay, brand new, sealed box for $68. It's not the same, not at all😂😂😂😂. The water gets sucked out. Much easier for people like me who have too much congestion for only gravity devices to work.
This is the guy at work that whenever he talks, you just want to tell him to blow his nose, that that's not his regular speaking voice. Dude finally blew it.
I need to break mine out again. Honestly with a constantly drippy nose this thing is freaking amazing. But you know you have shit sinuses when this thing can’t even clear them out- and yes yes that happened to me!
I was watching the doctor and wasn’t watching the guy with nasal irrigation and had to watch it twice to look and see what was in the container and screamed when I saw what came out. Woooooh! I need this for my baby and I for our seasonal allergies.
The tradistional one is basically a water can with the tip a bit enlarged. You use lukewarm water with some added salts (same salt level as your body). You tilt your head to the side and pour water in through one nostril and it flows out through the other nostril. It's the best thing ever when you have a severe cold. Afterwards you can actually breathe through the nose again. The original one is called a "neti pot". And yes, it's ok to make jokes about the shape.
DON'T USE TAP WATER. Use bottled or filtered water . Tap water..and well water have things in it that should not be introduced to your nasal passages. I use RO water microwaved for 30 seconds. Very comfortable.
I considered getting one of these since I have allergies and am prone to sinus infections, but I thought it just poured water to the back of your nose and all that stuff went either down your throat or out your mouth and thought that was disgusting. Seeing that it collects it in the container is not much less disgusting, it's better than having to feel it in my mouth/throat. I'll definitely keep these things in mind if I ever decide to get one!
I’ve had chronic sinusitis for 10 years, I’m supposed to do sinus rinses daily with added steroids to keep my sinuses somewhat functioning and reduce throat pain. I’d recommend using the squeeze bottles rather than these fancy electric ones. You can microwave the dry bottle for 90 seconds to sterilize before using it. I tried an electric one for a while and just kept getting staph infection without the microwave. And use distilled water, easier than boiling water yourself.
To further explain why to boil. Tap water isnt 100% safe even with chlorine, there are some things immune/resistant like fungal spores and amebas. So if you keep doing this without boiling you run the risk of giving yourself an infection in a place you -really- don't want to get an infection.
And worse, Brain eating Amoeba 😮 it's crazy that albeit very rare, these actually detected in some small percentage of tap water. .. Your nasal will welcome them straight through your brain stem 😵
Whenever I get sick and have a super stuffy nose and clogged sinuses, I end up using a neti pot (very similar device) and it really does feel like breathing in 4k afterwards. But yes, using purified or boiled and cooled water is incredibly important to prevent infection from contaminants in tap water.

I have this for when I have allergies. Works like a charm.
I seriously need this after I get off work, I think I got a few leaves up my nose
Your supposed to use distilled water is what it says here in the US
if you used distilled you'd cause more damage than good it's best to be done with isotonic salt solution
too little salt: the nose cells pop like orbees
isotonic: nothing happens
too much salt: the noise cells start looking like raisins
Can I get the product link?
It's called the Navage nasal irrigation system.
I find it interesting that it’s only recently that we started discovering that there are some things that we didn’t even think of as being a bad thing if we do in excess but actually harmful.
Like using this thing too much.
Or showering too much,
Even drinking too much water.
That was something that for a little while was the go to Health to drink lots and lots of water, but then we found out a few years later that if you drink too much water, you actually flushed out even stuff in your body that was supposed to be good for you to have in there.
When I get a sinus cold or something I find these rinses really do help it clear up faster
Bro can smell O²💀💀
This is the guy at work that whenever he talks, you just want to tell him to blow his nose, that that's not his regular speaking voice. Dude finally blew it.
Imagine he chews 5 gum after this
This is called "jal neeti" or water strategy in yoga.
My man is going to breathe so much better after this.
Imagine how goooooood it must feel to breathe airrrrrrrrrr
You need that after a ❄️ 🏔 session 😂😂😂
bro can smell oxygen now☠️
The tradistional one is basically a water can with the tip a bit enlarged.
I use a neti pot every time I start to feel sick, and I continue to use it throughout the duration of the heaviest symptoms.
