It is the little defects we might hear in live singing that underscore by contrast the abilities a singer has to sing very well live without benefit of the many takes and all the electronic massaging that happen in albums. As the notes went on I got off the chair telling myself that what I was listening to was just fantasy, such a thing was not possible, until I had to convince myself and after listening to other songs he performed, that this boy is not part of this world, I think not even of this galaxy. A gift from some superior being, who sent us this magical moment and make us understand what music and voice are. I do not hide from you that that day I was at 5 in the morning trying to find everything that was possible to find on him. Over the next few days I will have listened to Prayer 1000 times and the various comments to his voice and what he could do. But I come to the question without other examples otherwise you get headaches to understand what I wrote.
In your professional opinion (excellent), your experience (I don't know it) how long it takes to learn and do such a thing. Considering, as you have pointed out, that he does not have a specific preparation, the language, both English and Italian which certainly are not his, shape the voice to the character of the moment, in short, learn all this and sing wonderfully well.
If you tell me that it takes half a day for someone with that voice then I tell you that this comes from Andromeda, which seems to be the closest galaxy to ours. (laugh).
