I made this for my grandparents once and now they ask me to make it for them all the time (I live with them). I’ll come home from work or school and my grandma will go “I went grocery shopping today and bought some squashes” hinting to me that she would like me to make if for dinner lol. Because of you we now have a cute little dinner tradition. ❤️

@@wild5571 I would use a butternut squash and you can find them at pretty much any local grocery store. I live in cali so I get mine from like Walmart or sprouts

Thank you for posting this. I'm a vegan and never learned how to make this before. You made it so easy that I did it this afternoon for lunch. I used beyond meat beefy crumbles instead of non-vegan meat. Everything tasted great.

Maria - apart from being relaxing you inspired me to make this dish! I changed it up a bit by adding some red kidney beans, corn, creamed corn, a little brown sugar, some Worcestershire sauce and brown rice! Turned out great! Thank you!

there are SO many things you can make with spaghetti squash - you could even mix it with steamed shredded carrots, walnuts, and use maple syrup and cinnamon(+others like cloves and ginger) for a sweet autumn/winter dinner :D Great video :)

I went to see my mother yesterday and made this for us for dinner. I used fresh Roma tomatoes and added garlic, oregano, and black pepper along with the fresh basil. We both loved it, and it's definitely a recipe I'm stashing for days when I need an easy dinner. Thanks, Maria!

ASMR aside, I just made this and it was AMAZING! If you decide to make it just be sure your meat/mushroom/tomato mixture has almost no liquid because it will make your squash bowl more liquid-y. I also put a small layer of cheese before I added the meat then topped it with more cheese. Yummy.
