I really love the geese. The family bond is very strong. The have a mate for life, teach the gooslings how to swim & look for food, etc. A perfect example of marrial bliss.

I also love Canada Geese. They are beautiful, majestic birds. It is so impressive in the fall to see and hear them in the sky. I love their honking sound. And their strong bond extends beyond their family. I've read that the flock will not desert an injured goose. They stick with it and protect it until it is healed and ready to fly.

They are amazing animals. Their communications with each other, their organization, their intelligence and their strong family bond. Their trust and friendliness to people however, is what can get them into trouble. They have to be careful not to hang around human populations too much. I love Canadian Geese and cannot understand why they are so harrassed and hated by some people. Too many two-legged morons in the world. Imagine any human navigating thousands of miles on his/her own?

Come to think of it....... we all have to share one planet, like it or not.
