  • Volunteers gathered at Limahuli Garden, Haena, Kauai, to start construction on a traditional Hawaiian hale under the guidance of masterbuilder Francis Sinenci. This was a significant event because it's the first Hawaiian hale to return to the Limahuli Valley in more than a hundred years.
