  • In this video, we'll discuss why the FDA has banned NMN as a natural supplement and whether or not it's dangerous.
    NMN is a popular natural supplement that is claimed to be effective in the treatment of a variety of conditions, including aging. However, the FDA has banned NMN as a natural supplement because there is insufficient evidence to support its claims or is NMN dangerous? We'll discuss this in this video!

      What are you talking about - sugars are life itself which is why carbohydrates in nature convert to sugars. Next to oxygen sugars oxidise to create carbon dioxide. According to my understanding of a Health Act passed by Congress some years ago (can't remember the year), the FDA lacks legal authority to ban naturally occurring supplements. We had this battle years ago over things like vitamin C, and the FDA lost the battle when hundreds of thousands of Americans wrote their Congressmen protesting the FDA's authoritarian over-reach. I'm not sure what makes them think they can do this now, other than the overt rise in corruption over the past seven years.

      I remember them pushing the ban on natural vitamin C, but over the last 4 years or so vitamin C via intravenous has been on a sharp decline in use in hospitals. This has happened even after it has shown to have good value in helping patients recover. But not to detract from the original argument if I’m not mistaken the vit c was classified as a whole food and they didn’t want that being sold

    Thank you for the explanation in the video. It is informative.
    For those who prefer chemical names rather than just abbreviations :-
    NMN = niacinamide ( aka nicotinamide ) mononucleotide is a vitamin B3 variant
    > small enough for transport into cell where it is converted into the bigger
    NAD+ = niacinamide ( aka nicotinamide ) adenine dinucleotide, which is the actively usable derivative involved in mitochondria within cells to generate energy (Adenosine Triphosphate ATP).
    Ageing > decline in NAD+ > decline in cellular energy production > deficiency in repairs.

Today she is back to being the super woman. I knew her to be growing up. They’re trying to take. NMN off the market as a supplement. It’s a natural molecule and we are fighting to have it stay on the shelves! Researcher, Dr. David Sinclair is wanting to do research and publish and create a pharmaceutical out of NMN. Has anyone looked at Doterras advantage? It looks like a very high quality. I get worried with all the different opinions on NMN and causing more inflammation which is why I mainly take it from osteoarthritis.

      I don't know if it's due to the supplement, but I've been taking it for about a week, and have been feeling more spine inflammation than usual. It's concerning. Maybe it's that I'm herxing something or another. Not sure. Still haven't put my finger on what ails me. I just know that it's gotten worse since. Unsure if I should continue.

    What do you think of liposomal NMN? I take it it would bypass the normal receptors on the cells membranes to enter the cells. Does this mean it would be able to enter cells with few receptors, meaning cells which are not normally intended to have lots of NMN? Could that be a problem?

    • @kerensapee
      @kerensapee Před rokem

      Oil is not needed for NMN to be absorbed, so liposomal is not needed. I wonder if some are sold this way for marketing purposes whereas Vitamin C liposomal is better. I tried both powder and liposomal, I believe the powder is better. I take it with water and I tried to swish it in my mouth longer to allow sublingual absorption. It is expensive, so this may help save some cost by reducing dosage but increasing absorption. Some tried to put powder under tongue. Hope that helps.
