My thought is that quercetin and resveratrol provide just enough plant stress to the cells in the dosage curtailed to the individual. One must calculate personal daily life stress in conjuction. While we don't know the stressors people like Sinclair and other longevity experts face, we do know that money is not one. Lack of money and acquired debt is a huge if not number one stressor for most people. Longevity experts don't have that huge stressor. They can afford to use themselves as guinea pigs and buy any available supplement/drug on the market. They can afford the gym memberships, the vacations, the time off, the clinics, the psychiatric help for stress management. They can afford the many blood tests and doctor appointments required to see what works and if something needs to be tweeked. Longevity is about managing enough good stress levels and mitigating bad stress in a healthful fashion. So i would think that baseline stress levels and ability to measure results would definitely need to be factored into consideration when choosing and properly personalizing dosing requirements.

early on of the covid pandemic I saw a nutritionist that suggested Quercetin, Vitamin D, Zinc to ward off covid. A couple of years later I was diagnosed w/ prostate cancer (hereditary), and the nutritionist again suggested those 3 above, plus aspirin and melatonin as anatagonist of prostate cancer. I keep taking quercetin, but now your clip has me questioning whether to continue or xfr to Fisetin. As I understand - the quercetin helps minerals (zinc) enter cells more readily. Waiting on you Q report - but a quick opinion would help. I'm 68, had my prostate removed 2 years ago - all clear since. Pretty healthy - quite a bit of exercise daily.

My concern is for people with the COMT gene mutation AA. Fisetin and Quercetin both slow the metabolism of dopamine, other excitatory hormones and estrogen when they already have a problem with metabolism. I think there is over 20 percent of the population with that problem. Different individual genetic methylation problems make supplementing more complicated. I'm just diving into learning it. It makes me more cautious.

He could update that every time he makes a change and never have to answer the question again. All of this is great , and I take some of these supplements but everyone's body is different and my Italian Great Grandfather lived to 94 and mostly ate natural meat. He never even got sick. He only died of a broken heart cause his wife died 2 months before him. I also would have thought magnesium would be the most important supplement. Nac is also very important. You need to becareful with too much fish oil or omegs 3's cause it can lower your blood pressure and make you dizzy if you already have good to low bp. Don't forget tocotrienols, milk thistle and vitamin c either. Like I said everyones body is different and I'm sure most of those suppements are great.

he is a geneticist at Harvard. when he shares his info, he always says he is experimenting on himself & he is not a dr nor prescribing anything for anybody. the info is just an fyi because people always ask. he modifies his list/dosage based on the science he sees, his personal labs, and genetic history. do not expect him to give us a prescription. take his list & the list of several others who are biohacking, who are doing the reading & interpreting the studies like Mark Hyman. Compare what they recommend & why. choose from your own curated list base on your health needs. Hyman questioned Sinclair in an interview about Metformin, saying other things are more effective, but Sinclair cited his genetic history as why he took Metformin, and wasn't budging. Marcel on the Pulse channel has an interesting take
