People say Gary Moore is "underated", he isnt, everyone knows he is supreme amongst guitarists, he is more powerful than Clapton, far more passionate than Joe Satriani or Steve Vai and more precise than Hendrix ever was
I agree
100% right
GARY is the #1 blues player ever
I've said before and I will say again - there are good guitarists, there are great guitarists, there are legendary guitarists, and then there is Gary Moore.
One of the baddest people to ever hold a guitar in their hands. I was lucky enough to have seen him. R.I.P. Gary Moore...
Wish I had the chance, he was that dude!
My friend, Flash Gordon, took me to see Gary Moore in Wembley Arena back in the late 1980s.
Awesome night.
Gary Moore could do it all RIP.
Gary was the best rock guitarist and the best blues guitarist! Gary is the all-time great!
Saw Gary Moore twice in the UK outstanding live
My favourite player, has been for almost 40 years now. Thanks man for showing
respect and appreciation for the great Gary Moore :)
Gary is badass bro, had to react to him
All I can say is 'phenomenal playing by a true guitar maestro ! I really miss Gary Moore!!
That night was about the Fender 50th. That's why the solo was so long. Showing all its dynamics. Gary was a genius
Facts
Gary and Rory Gallagher are my two favorite Irish bluesmen. Rory's version of Muddy's, I Wonder Who on his 1974 Live Irish Tour is a classic. Rory also played lead on most of Muddy's London sessions album.
Saw Gary Moore twice in the UK one of the best
Why oh why didn't SRV ever play this?????? Can you imagine??🎸🎸🎶❤️❤️❤️❤️🎸
It would have been the most bad ass cover
Gary Moore is vibrato goals.
Meanest and baddest bend note vibrato you can find
One of the GOATS brother. great reaction.
Thank u!
Note the amazing and legendary Mr Pino Paladino on bass!
One of the best guitar players the ever lived.
He was taken from us too soon. R.I.P. Gary!
Passion.... If you haven't already heard it, find the recording of him playing "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" with George Harrison at the last performance before his death. Having done the original with Clapton... it was said George was absolutely giddy at Gary's playing on stage. Listen, you'll understand why.
The thing about Gary Moore is that he simply could do it all and he could play with the best of them, no matter which style. Blues? Check. Blues Rock? Check. Rock? Check. Celtic Rock? Check. Hard Rock? Check. Metal? Check. Jazz? Check. Fusion? Check. The Traveling Wilburys need a solo that neither George Harrison nor Jeff Lynne feel qualified to write? Let's call up Gary Moore, he'll do it in five minutes. True story. Ozzy Osbourne starts a solo career and needs a guitarist? Let's ask Gary Moore! That guy was a musician's guitarist.
It's one thing to find your lane and excel in it but Gary excelled in every lane. He could pull off a shred run in the middle of a Blues song without it sounding out of place and without disturbing the mood of the song. Who else does that? He was blazingly fast, he was accurate, he had an incredible sense for melody and phrasing. And he could do it all with emotions behind every note. His musicality was off the charts. Truly exceptional. MASTERCLASS.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gary was legendary
@@Devon_Rismay Hi cobber, there is a Gary Moore track called Gary Moore - Parisienne Walkways (Montreux 1999) This will knock your socks off, it's quite a long solo and NO boring parts. It's ALL emotion, Gary ''bleeds'' emotion when he plays.!!
Welcome from ''the land under'' the land down under.!!
This is exactly how I feel. Such an accurate description of Gary.
Nice reaction, man. You’re a player and I appreciate your perspective. Ty…
I remember watching this event and being bored with everything up until this point, and then Gary Moore walked on stage and delivered this gem which might be one of my top 5 live performances. Amazing.
I forgot about him. I'm glad you came along and reminded me.
Gary is great
Great reaction sir. I was so lucky to see Gary on 5 occasions. He left everything on stage! You are slightly wrong about his earlier career with the blues - he was great friends with Peter Green (who gave him his famous Les Paul) and Gary grew up playing the blues first and foremost. - which is why he was able to return to them so easily. I am still at a loss to understand why he never cracked America !
You’re absolutely right
Gary Moore is the greatest guitarist that no one’s ever heard of
TRUE MASTER CLASS artist
Devon have you listened to Moore and BB King, watching his amazing talent with legendary BB is amazing.
Hi, great reaction. Can you make reaction of Jeff healey? He was Blind. Jeff healey See The Light.
Yea check out one of my older videos, I did a reaction on him and will make many more
I never use a pick. Love that I saw that. Awesome
I've heard Gary Moores playing speed as Mach Jesus
He was a great maestro... underrated by many. R.I.P.
RIP
Moore is definitely more 👌
'messiah will come again' live and 'parisienne walkways' live
Most def!! I'll check em out
Fun fact; Gary Moore and Jimi Hendricks were both left-handed...😳👋
R.I.P. Gary, You're Still The Best!💯💔🙏
Gary was a great singer and the best guitarist to ever grace this world!
The grandmaster!
Great reaction man.
Great reaction to a Great Talent. Thanks
👍🏾
Wow! Reminds me a lot of SRV . Gary emodes like Stevie Ray.
Gary is badass!!
Superb!
Thank you
☮️💜
GARY MOORE LIVE IN STOCKHOLM SONG EMPTY ROOM, LISTEN TO THAT ONE AND TELL ME HIS VOCALS ARE NOT ON PAR WITH HIS GUITAR PLAYING...ONE OF THE BEST SOLOS EVER.
A supremely talented guy who had Albert Collins as his teacher!
Dynamite!
P.S.: I originally thought Gary was from Texas.
You should react to Gary Moore - Parsienne Walkways Live Montreux 2010,
Your the third request, its looking like a serious candidate
@@Devon_Rismay Also subbed, I like your guitarplaying and reactions‼️
@@skakkalabinko thank you bro
Love me some Parisienne Walkways and Still Got the Blues live versions too ❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@lizardkingof1968 🤘🏾🤘🏾
Great video.
Thanks!
Check out Taj Farrants cover best up and coming blues player, he will blow you away
Finally! I have passed this video around for 5 years waiting for someone to do this video. You rock! This is friggin amazing! His passion (like you pointed out) is worth the price of admission alone.
Thanks champ!
I made a comment but it’s not showing there is a brilliant version of Red house he did with Biiy cox and Mitch Mitchell from blues for jimi
I've listened to it but I have not seen the video yet
@@Devon_Rismay it’s worth seeing
I agree with you 100% that less is More when it comes to blues. I dont think this cover song represent his playing style its just like a showcase of his skill. I think gary was (Moore)😂 melodic player who can also shred kind of like santana. Would like to see you react to some carlos too. He is a definition of playing with your soul.
Carlos santana is one of my biggest influences! Big fan of his
In this case, Moore is more (WAY more!)!
There are "nods to" or acknowledgements of other great blues players within this performance. SRV is definitely in there starting at 7:30, and Jimi pretty much throughout. But I wonder if anyone can point out any more?
Just gary's unique playing
You're picking some good ones...
🙏🏾
Bro you need to do "The messiah will come again"!!
👍🏾
The bass player looks like the one who played with John Mayer Trio?
Hmm I'll look at the video again 🤔
The bass player is Pino Palladino
suggestion : check out Kenny Wayne Shepperd "shame shame shame"
Great song
Check out Joe Bonamasa
Ok ill check it out, email me a link if you don't mind or you can send me a message on my INSTAGRAM makes thing a bit easier thanks
If you’re going to do Hendrix, you had better do it better than Hendrix. Check.
