- Billy Connolly's parody of J.J. Barrie's 1976 number 1 hit "No Charge". Billy's version reached #24 and was his second hit single, following his version of Tammy Wynette's "D.I.V.O.R.C.E." the previous year.
i love the original true song, but i've always been a fan of billys..brilliantly funny
This is a song about my kid dad. :)
Try listening to this without laughing. No Chance.

Or the best version, Melba Montgommerys No Charge -74 hit
I knew he did divorce but this is new lol no chance
This record. No chance.
Don't know who this is, dos'nt sound like Billy to me.
+Jim Bainbridge It isn't!
Ken Davidson I've seen him live 3 times and listened to him since I wasa kid, that's not Billy. He doesn't do a fake Scottish accent and he's much better than that.
Ken Davidson Billy does a much better US country accent than this.
Ken Davidson You believe what you want to brother.
Jim Bainbridge It is. I've got this single. The B side is called It's No Gotta Name. This does sound a bit speeded up.
This came out in 1977, two years after his UK number 1, DIVORCE. It was several years after his Solo Concert album from his gigs in Scotland. By the time this single came out, he was massive in the UK.
