    Being born in london i never realized how lucky we are, the knights are an elite franchise with elite players who go on to be nhl superstars, lets go London!!! When the leafs fail us year after year the knights are always in the fight still, LFG!

    Folks need to temper expectations. There's been many Jr players just on London (Dvorak, Foudy, Jones, Juolevi, McCarron, Parsons & more) alone recently to utterly dominate then they go to the NHL & aren't what ppl hoped.

      These guys play on super teams. Could he become an absolute stud? Definitely. Could he be like the guys I mentioned? Absolutely. Gotta be cautious with how much these guys get hyped up.

      Funny how you don't mention Shanahan, Patrick Kane, John Tavares, Mitch Marner, Corey Perry, Steven Stamkos, Bo Horvat, Matthew Tkachuk, Nazem Kadri, John Carlson & more. What your saying about London, can be said about every Juniors team. I can tell you for fact that London is the most successful of them all since the Hunter brothers took over them in 2000.

      @@killachinchilla9445 funny that stamkos never played for london. tavaras was a 25 game tdl aquisition who lost in second round to spits mem cup winner. And kadri deal with rangers should have been illegal trading for a players rights after completing the season for following season was pure london b s. trade.

    So i have a couple questions as far as the memorial cup. I already know that the 4 teams competing are the 3 different canadian league champions and the team that hosts. So if Saginaw would have won the ohl championship who would have been the other team from the ohl and how does the league select who host it?? Is it based on who can compete against the 3 champions or is it just random??

    • @benforster3737
      @benforster3737 Před 20 dny +2

      Other team from OHL is the runner up (finals loser) and the same host still hosts.

      If spirit would have won ohl title the team they beat in final from east say oshawa would have been the other ohl team.

      @@stevenbauer4799 okay but how do they pick who hosts? Is it random or does the team have to be as competitive as the 3 winners of the different leagues?

      @@potassium22nd The host league teams bid for mem. cup. For instance saginaw, soo, kingston, and niagara bid for '24 mem. cup last year. Spirit won the bid because they were closer to contention this past season then the other three. chl looks for a host team that can be a contender as well. The three leagues ohl, whl, and q league rotate as mem. cup host every three years.
