i see what Adrienne is trying to say, but if the woman brings their child with her on the vacation, it's no longer a vacation. it's no longer a break. it's just parenting in a different country, which might be even harder because it's the child's first time experiencing that.

First of all parents don’t babysit their kids . It’s called being a parent . Family comes first, never put your job before your child . I always put my family first and I got fired for it and didn’t have a care in the world . My kids are always gonna come first . He could’ve called out . He knew he had to work and knew he paid for a vacation . He either was tryna get rid of them both or he just expect the wife to always take care of the kids .

If he can afford a vacation for his wife and child to Europe, he can definitely afford to hire an actual babysitter to take care of his daughter while he’s working.
And the fact that he uses the word “babysit” for his own child, is an indication to me that he may not think that it’s also his responsibility as a parent.

But A has it wrong, it wasnt that he couldn't take off of work it was that he didn't want to. His wife is a SAHM and he felt that the child raising was his wife's responsibility. He didn't see the point in losing 2 weeks pay but was perfectly fine buying 2 tickets for her to go and take their daughter. The wife was upset and instead of taking off work he just said his sister or sister in law would just come over to watch his child.

I loved our moments and I think because of that I know I can come to him for anything. My father parented me and our bond is strong. Well, almost a decade ago i took my toddler on a babymoon vacation that i badly needed. Safe to say i discovered that it was not a vacation and i was more stressed out. My kid fell down some stairs in the house i was staying in, drank bleach that was kept in the wrong place by the house keeper( which she vomited out and didnt get harmed luckily🙌) and survived. I decided to never ever take a kid on a vacation ever again. And that was 7yrs ago😭. I badly need one but someday hopefully.

He just trying to get rid of them both. My dad used to do the same thing, my mom was a teacher an every year when the kids went on spring break in April she would take a trip to Europe. He would complain about how couldn't keep me because of work or whatever. So he started buying me a ticket too everytime she would plan a trip during that time

Why wouldn’t he ask before buying the ticket?? International flights alone with a 4 year old!? That is no vacation

Adrienne missed the part where he said she does everything. He wrote it was an understanding where he doesn't take care of the kid, which is why she's the stay at home mom. He is mos def the as$hole

That 4 year old should be in pre -k he could take her to school and pick her up after work; depending on his work schedule and he wouldn’t necessarily have to take time off from work.

When I read the title for some reason I thought they were divorced. And it's not babysitting if it's your child. And if you can afford a trip to Italy you can certainly afford a nanny to take care of her while your at work. And this is a red flag for me. Like why are you sending me and our child to Italy. Like are you planing on cheating on me. And there is nobody home. So he can do whatever he wants no witnesses
