- All of the bosses in Hunt the Night defeated without taking damage and both endings to the game. When the sun sets and the night begins all sorts of monstrosities will party and wipe out humanity unless you can find all of the pieces of a seal and glue it together with your own blood to keep it daytime.
Pretty enjoyable game though there's a lot of side content I missed, particularly minor hunts which have you face off against an elite enemy for +10 max HP. It's all about using your dash effective to avoid damage (although it feels weird at times how chaining dashes may or may not prevent damage if you're close or inside an effect). I never particularly felt I had combat click to really play aggressively. I also found Nuriel to be a bit annoying to beat hitless as it can spawn its butterflies on you (and that second phase is really hectic).

#hitless - Hry
0:09 You can’t tell unless you pause because it happens so fast, but the Devourer bites off that guy’s entire top half and yeets his legs offscreen in one fluid motion.
Fr 😅
these bosses remind me of old school maplestory, OST sounds cool and mechanics look nice too
I particularly found Nuriel's OST to be really catchy, despite the fight being relatively quick.
Leon Belmont : from this days on belmont clan will hunt the night
So that's what saber was doing when kiritsugu blew the builiding.
I found this video by chance and the game seems pretty cool, is like a 2D Bloodborne mixed with Castlevania

Thank you, another game on my list
No problem, I hope you enjoy it!
this game is apparently very tough, but I might give it a try
There's definitely challenging moments as enemies hit you for quite a bit and there's a number of gauntlets having to face multiple ones at once. The life leech spell helps a lot once you get it.
Guys how is this game? The reviews have all been mixed so Im on the fence about buying it. I played the demo and actually enjoyed it a lot, the gameplay, looks, music etc were all awesome
I think if you enjoyed the demo then it's very likely you'll enjoy the full game.
@@CrankyTemplar have you actually played it and beat it? What's your take on it
Well, I'm the fellow who uploaded this video for my channel, so yes I'd say I've finished the game.
I overall enjoyed it but skipped a good bit of the side quests. I put some of my thoughts about it in the description. I'd reiterate that if you liked the demo you'll probably like the full game.
@@CrankyTemplar awesome thanks!
Impressive!
What will happen when Legend of Zelda goes M-Rated and crossover with Castlevania, specifically the Netflix version.
this looks like CrossCodes but more mele and less puzzle
I didn't know they made a game about Vayne.
Dunno why CZcams recommend me No damage Bosses of random games i never saw in my life but, still they are enjoyable. ¿What does mean bad and good ending in simple words? (No need to know the story from beginning).
Thanks, the endings are what have a more positive or negative outcome for the story.
@@CrankyTemplar No no, i mean, what happened in both endings?, For example in bad ending, did the main character decided to abandone humanity to turn into the leader of monsters?
Oh, my mistake. Yes, that's pretty much what happens in the bad ending. In the good ending you sacrifice yourself to maintain the day so humanity can survive.
@@CrankyTemplar Ah, is what i thought. So u have the choice to die like a hero, or be egoist and keep ur life and get possesed by power to turn into a monster. In bad ending all the travel of main character was in vain, considering she didn't change anything, just made things worse.
@@CrankyTemplar Lame. The bad ending is the better ending apaprently.
But why become the leader of the monsters? There would seem to be an obvious middle ground between killing yourself and going evil.
Is the game worth it?
I found it enjoyable overall and noted some points/criticisms in the description too. The game's challenge came more in the enemy gauntlets than the bosses (although Nuriel has a lot going on in its second phase). There's a good bit of side stuff I didn't find/explore but the main game was pretty solid. Personally I was interested somewhat after playing the demo in a Next Fest and doing poorly, so I was curious to see if I could do better with some practice.
There aren't levels and weapon upgrades are pretty small (the basic claws did 10 damage and the ones I used later did 15 damage) so if you like the genre and that sort of gameplay then you'll probably enjoy the game.
First biss fight lasts 10min hahah what up with last 2hours😊
What do you mean? It should only be about two minutes.
Im not serious ,but 2 with player that play very good
I'm not sure if it's that this guy is just that good, if he's using tool-assists or if this game is incredibly easy but none of that looked difficult at all. Hmm.
It felt harder than it looks playing this - when I originally played the demo during one of the Next Fests I had trouble with the first boss as it felt a bit sluggish timing when to dash away. There's a number of moments in these fights where I don't play as aggressively as I should because of not being confident of dashing out in time.
well as EVERY game with top down view (and actually with false "depth" side on objects) it has absolutely broken hitboxes with which you can't absolutelly tell whether you hit someone or someone hit you or not. absolutely no impact on any action just some stupid maneuvers in vacuum space. besides char has so much stamina that it doesn't feel like there is any need in stamina management so why is it here?
Stamina management did come into play with some of the more dodging intensive bosses (such as Nuriel) but it is a bit on the generous side. Hitboxes you kind of get used to as you play the game, although there are sometimes a few oddities with whether you get hit or not chaining dashes through beams or other projectiles.
Totally not a gender-bent Alucard.
