- Upon entering Mascota with intention of making camp in one of the town’s public parks we find that John-2 is still camped in this place. He’d left us in the town of Sayulita two weeks before. John told us he’d been enjoying this place so much that he’d just decided to stay a while. And so we all settled in.

The worst drug problem I had in my life, was getting drug to church every time the doors were open....we can tell yall were not raised in a church lol...heard a couple F bombs and other choice words .....made me smile....

Theres a ton of gringos living in Mexico. Many for 20 or 30 years. In 25 years of going there I personally have found the place no more dangerous than the US. Dont believe anything the lying media says anout anything!

I meant to chip in with this last time you featured this Church, but that room where the Priest prepares for the service / communion (the Sacristy) is lockable to protect anything that has been blessed, such as Holy water and The Sacrament (Host), as it's not unknown for people to try to steal it to misuse.
The whole Christ on the Cross thing (whether High or Low Anglicanism) is to remind us that Christ died on the Cross for our sins (and rose again to live in eternal glory) so we should live as well as we can, lead as blameless lives as we can and repent any transgressions. Now, Roman Catholicism, comes across to me as perhaps not being quite as forgiving, which is one reason why Mary is more central to the whole deal.... (don't do anything your Mum wouldn't approve of.. ..and then there's the whole Catholic Guilt end of that)..

Hey Scotty I saw the food trucks in that street and I’m sure the food is frigging amazing but what does it do to your GI system if your not use to it ?
The whole reason that the crucifix is so important to us Christians is that the son of god who is Jesus Christ died on the cross after going through a lot of torture and suffering to save people from their sins, it shows how much god loves us by sacrificing his own begotten son and the only way to the father(God) is through the son. I’m not a biblical scholar but that’s how I understand it and I’m definitely not preaching to you a relationship with god is only between them and God but I do hate to see people who don’t know him because if what we believe in the Bible is true hell is going to be a awful place to spend eternity

I forget the wording exactly but on the churches other side it says something about "paz" which means peace.
I'm pretty sure that jail cell is were they lock up the sacrificial idols.... like blessed objects the churches have. So things like the splinter of the true cross, blessed pubic hair from jesues that type of thing. It's a catholic thing

Christians have a ceremony of taking unleavened bread and wine (or grape juice) to remember Jesus. He paid the price once and for all for humans for their sins that separated them from God by letting himself be killed and a blood sacrifice. Here is the Bible reference that talks about this:

Without The death of Jesus on the cross and his Resurrection 3 days later .The bible would be a Joke.Thus the cross is the most important Event to the Christian Faith.

The dudes in Mexico why did he even put on that useless helmet? If a helmets not required then why pretend? It’s not like that thing would help in a crash!
In Mexico the law is subject to interpretation. If other Riders are wearing a helmet in that area you need to wear one too, if not then no. It's best to always wear one when traveling down there so you don't give a cop a reason to hit you for a little bribe.
in that liitle room in the church is a sacrificial altar. Its plain to see.Its the exact length of a human. All those images and statues are a sin, including the "Mary" worship.
