Renault must keep it the same as the concept. For every change they make, they'll lose 100,000 buyers! They also must not make the same mistake that Jeep has with the Avenger, pricing it at £36,500!!!
The concept looks great, hopefully, they can make most of the details for the production line. My biggest concern is the headlights and daytime running light because they have that 3D feel, which is really cool.

If it looks almost identical to this concept, and comes in at under £25,000 then I will definitely buy it. But manufacturers have a habit of producing concept cars that look great, but don't look so good in the flesh. And can they really make it £11,500 less than the Jeep Avenger (same size)? I doubt it. Prices are holding back an EV sales explosion, as they are just crazy. Over £30,000 for a MINI!!!
@@jimskirtt5717 Yes, I agree with all you said. Prices are crazy.
If it looks the same as the concept, I’ll be up for buying that
@@mrlukef1 Agree. It would be a perfect 2nd car to run city errands
I have a Zoe 50 1 135 GT Line and the length is correct as I can get my electric Mobility scooter in the boot, If this car is shorter as stated in the video then it won't be any good for a disabled person, Designed by young people with no knowledge of the older generation requirements
This does sound short. I imagen they aim to sell well to the young urban population. It would be interesting to see what will happen with Clio and Twingo, once this car is out.
I like this design except the rear. Something about it is weird 😂
I guess it will take some time to get used to it. I remember having the same feeling when Megane 2 rolled out first. It was just different than anything else at that time.
@@BbrosAuto for me the back of megane 2 is still weird haha, but most renaults are a little bit weird. I guess thats why I love them, they are being themself and are not scared to risk 😎
I just dont like when electric cars tey to look extremely futuristic, because it simply doesnt look good to me even tho im a big sci-fi fan
@@simorx580 I agree 100%, that's why we love them too :D
They should center the badge.
Gt Turbo x sempre
I would love to try one of them!
You didn't say the price

I dont see how this fits in the Renault lineup design wise. The Megane E-Tech, Austral, Espace and new 2024 Clio all have a modern design and show a unitary lineup. This has nothing similar to any of them, looks like its from another manufacturer entirely.
One could argue that is a good thing. For the last couple of years, there has been a lot of trash from the automotive community towards manufacturers because each model is made on the same design principle. On the other hand, one concept always breaks out and tests the waters with a different design that other models will follow in their next generation. I understand what you mean though, it is weird nowadays to see something completely different from the rest of the "brotherhood". Renault 5 has a rich history and they probably want to have the restomod feel to it. Appreciate you watching our content and sharing your thoughts!
Price in the Netherlands. 35k. Easy! And after 8years battery warranty is over not sell able and worth nothing like all the EVs. When battery is defect, car is total loss! Not worth it!
A lot of uncertainties are still around EV's. At this point, I wouldn't buy a used EV. I think you are completely right, but I guess things will probably change in the future, because this is not sustainable.
I have a 7 year old EV, I have bought it 4 1/2 years ago for £6200 (about 7k euros), still worth about £5500k. Unsellable😂😂
@@lozkko Are you still happy with the performance? Is the range still there?
@@BbrosAutoit was maximum 100miles range when I bought it, it is still maximum 100 miles now (which suits me fine as a second car, with home charging). I cannot notice any degradation, which - with the exception of early Nissan Leaf, which have a problem with degradation - is a much bigger concern for people who don't have EV, or know much about them, than people who do. If things go wrong repair costs can be high. But it is rarely the battery, more likely to be for instance the on-board charger, or in Teslas the screen (a few grand to replace it, without it you cannot do anything). In BMW i3 early models with range extenders the auxiliary petrol engine can seize up (a £5k-6k replacement). Against that, general maintenance is much lower, and we spend less on brakes, oil, cam belts, dpf filters, etc
Mucho Ruido y Pocas Nueces!
