He literally got it spot on. I'd say Rice is more likely to go to Arsenal but if we sell a few players we can definitely get Osimhen. United will go for Kane so we're really the only club in for him and Napoli won't turn down the cash.

@@areebsiddiqui758 PSG and Bayern want Osimhen, maybe also Arsenal, and I'm not sure Chelsea will have much money this window, at least not £100-150m+. They have to sell players just to balance the books because of no European football. And by spreading the transfers over 7+ years, they have effectively reduced available money for future windows well beyond this summer. The only silver lining is they have some very good players already and 2 good players (Nkunku and Gusto) to come in.
That Rory's team is horrific. Another 300M down the drain - We need Poch to work with what we have and add a couple of positions like midfield & GK.
and a striker, buying more midfielders is not going to help the goal scoring problem
That's literally what he's done with Onana and Rice. Nkunku is already a done deal, he just has to be announced as a Chelsea player. And Osimhen is as close to a guarantee as it gets in football these days, he's the best striker on the market right now. Rory got it bang on. What people don't realize is that Chelsea will probably sell a lot of players this summer freeing up a lot of money.
@@areebsiddiqui758 Chelsea still has to pay for Nkunku whether it’s been agreed beforehand or not. It still counts towards the total cost. Osimhen could easily stay another year, Napoli don’t need to sell this year. And even West Ham have an option to keep Rice two more years. Osimhen and Rice would both cost around 100m each with 2 years left on their contracts.

And that back 5 is nonsense we're not spending 80mil on rice or 100+ on osimhen. Mount is leaving, he doesn't have any wingers in the lineup what a weird team

As a Chelsea fan I’ve been hesitant to really throw my hat in with Poch, just still a little unsure if he’s really the guy. Not openly against the idea, I’ve just been withholding open excitement at the idea. But now that I know that Rory is against his appointment and his reasons why, I can safely say I am now very much looking forward to Pochettino and am ready to start getting backing him and the new era of Chelsea at full tilt.

As Chelsea fans the way we have to look at it is that we are currently 12th, it can’t get too much worse, if poch can get us back up the table and challenging then I’m grateful. The last 24 months we have had new owners, been 12th in the league with four wins since October and at one point we didn’t even know if we would have a club so if he gets us back into champions league I’d be happy first season

Meret,Lafont & others are a good bunch of young keepers which can add a good balance to a club like Man-U,Reds coz everyone these days need a good 2nd option to go to if you aren't happy with their current form

1) elite manager
2) selling loaned and normal players : ziyech / aubameyang / lukaku / havertz / gallagher / kepa / pulisic / azpi / kovacic / cucrella /rlc / chaloba
3) signing a goalkeeper - onana if possible or sommer if they are available
4) signing a no.9 : osimhen if possible ,if not omly then goncalo ramos
5) signing a winger ,if felix not signed ,is possible fedrico chiesa
6) midfileders : declan rice or mac allister or if possible both

If Pochettino, joins Chelsea. One thing is a given for sure he will bring the best out of the Full-Backs and Centre-Backs. Having said that, I would field two teams, one for the league and one for the cups (FA & EFL). I for believe that to win leagues, you need a solid and immaculate defense and to wind tournaments you need highly potent attack.
So the teams, put out below are my first choice starting XI for the league and domestic cups respectively.
League (5-3-1-1):
Onana - Chillwell - Badiashile - Silva - Fofana - James - Mount - Fernandez - Rice - Mudryk - Lukaku/Nkunku
FA Cup & League Cup (4-4-2 Diamond):

No player who has come on loan to Chelsea in the past 10 years has worked for Chelsea.
Transfers (In):
Though Chelsea have the financial power to buy Oshimen and amortize his value over 10 years. I would not buy another striker from Serie A after the Lukaku fiasco. Maybe, we buy back Tammy Abraham or buy Watkins or Toney who are all proven strikers in the Premier League. I would buy Rice (I would have Terry, Lampard, and Cole convince Rice to join Chelsea over Arsenal or any other PL club and at some point give Lampard and Cole some sort of Club Ambassadors role, because both of them cannot coach for pete's sake) and a ball playing Goalkeeper like Onana and send Gabriel Solnina to Atletico Madrid on loan, cus it worked with Courtois the last time.
I would fast-track James to become the Club Captain as the kid leaves it all on the pitch when he is fit and injury-free. With this approach, I believe we can win a domestic cup and maybe finish 4 or 5 in the league next season. And, play European Football the season after the next.
Whatever comes out of Rory's mouth, expect the opposite!

If Poch is going to be the manager it will be a back 4, most likely a 4231. Here’s how I would like the team to look and what they need to do.
- Sign a GK
Like Rory said none of the keepers at Chelsea are good enough. Kepa can be serviceable but not a number 1.
- Sign a Striker
The position that has plagued Chelsea since Drogba. Need to find a goal scoring threat and a true number 9.
- Sign a DM (preferably Rice)
The Kante replacement. Getting this sorted out would be great for the entire team. It solidifies the defense and gives Enzo the freedom to be more of a b2b like he was for Argentina.

Kepa and Mendy have paid their dues. Mendy has won CL,CWC,SC, Kepa has also won all that with EL. The have paid their dues. However, I'd take mendy over Kepa. Kepa's ball playing ability does improve our results. Non of his passing has lead to a goal or an assist. Mendy played the build up to our win over man city in the CL final.

Costa is a great keeper and good with his feet. Rice is prem proven and would free up Enzo as well as the wing backs by adding more defensive stability. Lukaku is a proven goal scorer who has come back into form recently and cost 100 m. You can´t just get rid of him. I think he would work well with Sterling and Nkunku behind him + James and Chilwell bombing forward down the line. With Nkunku, Enzo and Sterling to an extend, there is a lot creativity in this side.

Arsenal, Bournemouth, Nottingham, Man City, Man United and Newcastle. I dont know where they are getting the points from now until the end if the season.
It's all about context, and that's what makes those fixtures so dangerous.. Arsenal need a response and a statement performance, 2 teams desperate for every point, then City in the middle of what's needs to be a winning run at the end of the season. If Chelsea manage to get a point in any of those.
