Absolutely agree on the card quality. My brother, who plays very infrequently, did prerelease with me, and even he immediately noticed the cards felt "off." Said they felt flimsy and rough. Another player at the store commented that the cards felt like counterfeits. It's really a damn shame.
You are right about the quality. It's ridiculous when it's like the most expensive product ever.

Pretty good box the set actually surprised me with the power level But most people would agree with you On the poor card quality and very poor morals and ethics of Hasbro/ WOTC
I think you are correct. It is a ripoff, IMHO. I bought 2 MH3 Commander decks and that is all I am spending on it. I am a Level 4 seller on TCGPlayer and I may lose out a little this week, but not much. I do feel good about the upcoming Bloom Burrow, so I will save money for that instead. Great content. The quality is definitely terrible , really powerful set but still doesn't make up for terrible card quality
You know, you being a store owner in the business of opening lots of cards are in the best position to be critical of quality. With the quick turnaround of new product constantly coming out is it any wonder that standards might dip? Assassins Creed is out in under 2 weeks and Bloomburrow about 6 weeks away. Like your attitude oldschoolmtg….keep doing what you’re doing.

It's called addiction. It's not just for drugs, sex, food, violence. It's for paper too. People continue to buy because of addiction. They also justify addiction like any one would with its not a problem, it's my money and I'm grown how dare you tell me otherwise. Legit addiction.

Wizards have no blades they cut their cards with spoons 🥄 I have noticed since lost caverns of Ixalan the roller lines and pringles are everywhere on foils. Have a good one !
I agree with you. One of my LCI Bundles had a bunch of bad cuts. The edges were rolled and bigger than the standard cards. I was not happy at all.
