Have you seen Fast Times at Ridgemont High? Could be where you heard it. Their debut album had all the songs leading into each other. I would do a reaction to the studio version of this song leading right into All Mixed Up. It’s so good! The production on this song on the album version is really special.

Listen to the studio version with headphones and you will experience what stereo is moving in stereo is all about. The sounds will move from ear to ear and the tremolo really wavers.

You really need to listen to the original studio album version that some of us old folk heard. In fact, listen the the entire first album. You might find you even need you some Candy O. This isn't even Ric Ocasek but, he is is sounding pretty similar to him.

By today’s standards, it may seem trivial, but when this came out, it had a fresh and “futuristic” sound. This song was in the movie, FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH. That may be where you’ve heard it.

Given the time you likely heard it from Stranger Things Season 3 if you watched it. Though the song first debut in Fast Times in Ridgemont High funny they both play during a pool scene but Fast Times has the much hotter Phoebe Cates :)
