King Kong (2005): Peter Jackson's expansive remake of the 1933 classic follows director Carl Denham (Jack Black) and his crew on a journey from New York City to the ominous Skull Island to film a new movie. Accompanying him are playwright Jack Driscoll (Adrien Brody) and actress Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts), who is whisked away by the monstrous ape, Kong, after they reach the island. The crew encounters dinosaurs and other creatures as they race to rescue Ann, while the actress forms a bond with her simian captor.

King Kong 2005 is the best King Kong movie in my opinion
But during the fight, king ripped out the Rex’s tongue. But when king dropped the Rex after breaking its jaw, the tongue is visibly still there. How?

I never understood how the graphics back then are far better than what we have now.
Passion and dedication. Right now, it’s all about money on how much the budget can only go.
Back then creators gave it their all. We have better graphics now but people just want moneh
They weren't. Most CG in the 90s and 2000s ranged from lacklustre to dogshit with few exceptions. King Kong (2005) was a passion project for Peter Jackson, and he therefore would not tolerate any kind of rushed results.
20 years old VFX and visuals, far better than today's ADIPURUSH. one of Best movie from Hollywood. Still goosebumps while seeing Kong and T Rex Last fight scene.

This rex fight is the best part of King Kong . Peter Jackson did a fantastic job making the right more brutal and powerful. I can still remember in the theater when the fight came I Just loved it

This movie is amazing. The first time I saw it, I was blown away at how good it was. It was like 2 movie in one and both were great.
Finally she should be with kong forever.
Apparently the V Rexes hunted Kong's species. So this fight is actually personal...having said that, Peter Jackson confessed the Rexes were purely fixed on Anne not Kong. However, it wouldn't matter lets be honest. Kong would still whoop their arses. You think he was born with these scars? No no hes killed them before many times i'm sure

Honestly I'd take this Kong over the monsteverse one anytime. Not because I grew up with this one but he's the remake of the original story and he just much cooler and tough and badass seriously they mad him so weak in Godzilla Vs king. Look at him here tho!!

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE this Kong. This is my favorite movie featuring him. But Monsterverse Kong has a more interesting back story and is WAY stronger.
