Because it's literally like nails on a chalkboard for many people and it's a usually a zone for thirsty simps. How many guys do asmr? Not even close to the amount of women. Personally I don't get it and it kinda annoys me like someone chewing with their mouth open, all the lip smacking, and it makes me want to punch something.

This was an absolutely great video for so many reasons. First let me say I actually am a psychologist, and you asked why might people make comments like this. There are so many reasons, but one main one is that people often project onto others what it is they most dislike in themselves and can't face. They don't want to see it in themselves, so they keep accusing others of it. Another reason is having so much fear or other negative emotions in their own lives that they need to "release" it onto others, almost like a pressure valve. Like they need some way to let off the internal steam or pain. As i said, lots of other reasons, but those are two big ones. Often these people have been treated in negative ways themselves and just don't know how else to relate. Secondly I wanted to say the way you dealt with these sets such an amazing example for people, and I am truly impressed with your own self esteem and maturity, which come through. You didn't really jump on the people and get angry yourself or be upset. You often took what they said and turned it into a positive for yourself. I felt no anger or fear in your voice--you handled it so well. Like I said, a great example for people. You could probably do a video on this--how you got to this place to feel this kind of self assurance. I think you said it so well "what is someone going to say about you that you don't already know?". The thing is many people don't want to face things about themselves, and therefore can be hurt when someone hits them with it. You might do a video on your journey with this--is it love of family and friends? is it like you said , having already gone through bullying? is it internal work you've purposely done? thirdly let me say i SO appreciate that you do talk in your videos=or rather whisper. I do not like the videos with all the tapping and clicking and people trying their asses off to try to come up with some new way to make a noise. ASMR may have that as an element, but it is in no way the only way. I remember when Maria , one of the people that is often associated with early ASMR, used to just sit and chat and do her nails. I still love those videos. Anyway, a long response. But I felt your video deserved it. Right now, you are almost the only ASMR artist I listen to. What you do feels very natural to me, and too many other channels feel contrived. And as for LilyWhispers, I certainly like her and she seems like such a sweet person, but I don't subscribe to her channel or watch it much. I like your style much more. We each have our preferences. Thank heavens for variety. I don't know why people are so freaked out by it. oh, and i like the mic all ways, but maybe the old way best.

Honestly you make the most “unique” videos for the asmr community. I feel like most asmr channels do very similar stuff which is not a bad thing bc they do it in their own style but you make very engaging videos and I really appreciate that.

You keep doing you, I didn't know you sometimes do request! I'd love to see like you reviewing or commenting on celebrities quarentine outfits, or commenting on your opinion on reality shows from early 2000 to now. Gossip videos about a make up brand or a fashion brand, you reading a conspiracy theory, mukbang of sweets like rice krispy treats, hair brushing telling about hair products and how you get it so glossy, more girl talk obvi, funny or weird party or sleepover party experiences (you can look them up in reddit and just read them from there). Idk i have more ideas lol, about the mic i don't mind you using it either way honestly everything audio wise has a very good quality as well as the levels. So yeah it's all positive vibes here love your channel
