Idea: Instead of fully evolving your whole team, you can evolve 5 times total for your whole team. So if you get a Charmander, you'd have to invest 2 of your 5 evolutions to get a Charizard, or 1 of 5 evolutions if you're fine with a Charmeleon.
That could make the Pokémon choices a little more challenging. Maybe for other challenges aswell, that way we'd see a lot more mid stages and babies on the teams :)
This would be good. 5 evos might be a bit low though
@@Ceaselessyawn I think 5 would be fine, considering there's also legends and already fully evolved Pokemon (and mid stages which only need 1 evolution) among the choices
So would Pokémon be picked like starters or wild
@@izzyfbabyify I guess you could do it for both. Maybe adjust the number a bit, make it higher for random wild encounters, lower for starters. It's just an extra rule that you could basically slap on any other challenge so it's not only fully evolved stages and you'd have to think a bit more about your picks
This is absolutely not the first time Chillin didnt evolve a Porygon 2 into a Porygon Z and that’s hilarious that he gives the same reason every time 😂
And the crazy thing is, it would be a perfectly valid option if they actually used items. Porygon2 is already bulkier than Porygon-Z to begin with and Eviolite makes it a huge tank.
@@CyberchaoXI wanna see them use items. Haha they finally started actually evolving their pokemon instead of the videos being decided by who gets the most full evos. Now I'd like to see then start getting sweaty with items.

As for if I’d want to see a no-evo challenge, I do like when the teams are fully evolved, but it would be a nice change of pace. Bring it on!

The fully evolved teams make for good battles but i do really miss the risk of bringing babies to the fight. It makes the videos so funny and entertaining

I’d like to see more doubles and/or item utilization! Maybe spin an item wheel 3 times, then you get to decide who gets what item after you get your team. (Mostly good items but potentially some bad items on the wheel too)

Wow, this was a great one! And some non full evo vids are fun. Can lead to fights being too unbalanced, but that can happen anyway, and it's extra fun when a baby pokemon actually puts in work
I had an idea for a video: "We catch teams in Pokemon Go and then we battle"
You create a brand new Pokemon Go account and have like 3 hours (or less or more, depending on what you prefer) to catch Pokemon.(Anything goes, from Raids to completing research, just no outside help) From the Pokemon you were able to catch in the time you chose your teams and battle it out in a regular Pokemon game.
Only downside would be that this would mean having to leave the house...
You don’t have to leave, depends on where you live, there can be many spawns, you could also use the incense to lure more Pokémon, if you’re lucky enough, you would be able to find a pokestop at your house.
@@yusufmaster6027 That is true, however if you want to find as many Pokémon as possible in a set amount of time, moving is a good strategy. For example to use the daily incense for a tiny chance to get a legendary galarian bird

Love these videos, but I gotta say I wish there was more scarlet/violet challenges. I know that the games are super buggy and perform badly and that can be a major turn off, but maybe the battle portion can be done in Showdown instead to help mitigate that? The Terrastilization mechanic is always a fun surprise in these videos and (in my opinion at least) the ‘mon selection in that game has a really fun diversity.
Still, I’m loving the fun times in the SW/SH videos too!

challenge: Catch a team of 9 random pokemon. When finished, flip a coin to determine the evolution state of each of the 9 pokemon. Heads= 1 evolution up. Example. A charmander who gets a coin flip heads will go up 1 stage to become a charmeleon. Tails = 1 de/evolutionary stage down. example a charmader who gets a coin flip tails, cannot go any lower but will be brought in full circle to a fully evolution state ie a charizard. another example is a heads on a charizard will bring it in full circle back to a charmander, and a tails on a charizard will be a charmeleon after going down by 1 stage. after doing this to the 9 randomly caught pokemon you can chose the 6 you like for battle. skip all non evolutionary pokemon in your random encounters for this challange

Maybe its a good idea to not pick if you want to trash left, middle or right, but instead go with trashing the highest attack stat, or the lowest pokedex number, or whatever but you can only use it 1 time so that you cant just ban high attack all the time
Psst quick the move freeze dry that you had on ninetales is also super effective against water, so it would have been 4x against both Gyarados and Kingdra. Not criticizing your play, because it was also a good pick vs Crobat, just something that might be helpful in the future.
That was closer than what I tought. GG with the sticky web and his mons was the favorite, but that Crobat hurt much more than I expected. And the double miss didn't help. Good battle

So, here's a suggestion. Each of you catch 3 Pokémon each. Then you both take the 6 Pokémon, and alter the moveset based off of relearn moves/learnable TMs, to create a partial Mirror Match.
You had it at the end either way, at least I think. It would have taken two more aerial aces, so you would have outsped and +1 clangorous scaled. And the accuracy luck was kind of deserved after the confusion luck😂

I like the challenges when you dont evolve them. I find they make it much more challenging and interesting overall. And sometimes the baby pokemon do amazing things.
i disagree, if they weren't evolved it would be much less likely to have an entertaining and down to the wire battle like this one

I dont know if you already did something like this but you could try it. You get the starter trio. The opponent picks a starter without knowing the options. Then the other player has to choose one of the two remaining starters for themself.
