  • Hit my local tog grounds this morning and limited out with 2 keeper sized blackfish. I used very light tackle, 10lb test with 20lb leader and 3/4oz blackfish jigs. Crabs were the bait of choice for the day. Hope everyone enjoys the video and remember to hit the SUBSCRIBE button for future content and footage. STAY TUNED !!!!!

      Rarely do I break off on fish, and RARELY have I seen line wrapping in a piling not break especially 10lb test…but hey it could’ve been my knot on that one fish who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️ thanks for watching Chris 😎 STAY TUNED 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

    Which kayak is this and u recommend?

    • @thesouthshoreanglerfishing
      @thesouthshoreanglerfishing  Před rokem

      The kayak is a Hobie Pro Angler 14.5…if your heavy duty into fishing and are physically able to drag this kayak on dolly and load and unload ontop of car then I say this is the go to. The only downside to the Pro Angler is the dead weight. Very heavy kayak, wider and harder to handle when loading and unloading. Comfort wise it’s amazing, around 3ft wide, you can stand up and fish if your balance is good, it’s not “topsy turvy”. Has a chair for full comfort when sitting as to where other kayaks your sitting closer to the water level instead of perched up. I would recommend this kayak is you plan on spending hours on the water at a time just for comfort. If you are doing quicker trips and want to run and gun, I would go with a Hobie Outback which is smaller than the pro angler but still heavy duty enough to where you can stand if your balance is good. I can only speak on Hobies due to the fact I own a revolution,tandem,Outback and pro angler. There are other brands such as “Old Town” that I’ve been seeing a lot of guys with lately due to
      The price and what you get for your money. I would recommend going online on Facebook buy and sell and buying one used instead of cashing out on something brand new…you have people that buy these kayaks thinking they are going to use them a lot and then they just end up sitting and being put up for sale…I got lucky and got my pro angler fully loaded for $2800 on Facebook buy and sell… Thanks for watching pal 😎 STAY TUNED 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
