One suggestion please - could you use surnames a bit more? Sometimes when you talk about players / managers by first name I don't know who you mean😭
Love the pod - would love to see Liam Cooper (from Chesterfield to captaining Leeds in Premier League and scoring at Old Trafford). Referred to as "League One Liam" for ages at Leeds (pre Bielsa). What a change we've seen in him. Luke Ayling - Arsenal academy to Yeovil Town to Prem with Leeds - would be another great pod!

Niki is right about Barnsley lads who go on to make good careers in life. The small-town mentality seems to come to the fore which irritates me. However, being a Barnsley lad and supporter myself, I've got nowt but respect for what Nicky Eaden did for the club. Superb contributions over the years and some really memorable moments.
I first saw him play for Barnsley in the 1993/94 season and you could see he was a very good footballer early on. He was the modern day wing back bombing forward which was unusual back then because many teams played 442. Barnsley however played 352 which allowed Niki at right back and Neil Thompson at left back to get up and down the touchline and attack. Their contribution in the 96/97 promotion season was immense and a massive part of our success.
My favourite Niki Eaden moment for Barnsley was his goal against Sheffield United in the promotion season. It was a huge game in the promotion run in and he clinched the 3 points with the second in a 2-0 victory. I still get goosebumps when I think about it. What a great lad and podcast

Wednesday fan 💙🤍 from Doncaster here lads, love the pod. Good to hear some reyt stories from Nicky, comes across as a top boy, proper Barnsley lad. I used to love a neet art round Barnsley, between 2008-2010 wo seeing a lass from Athersley North, most Saturday nights out in Joseph brahmers, white bear, walkabout, end up in funny Gals, sometimes in Soviet, played some reyt banging tunes in Soviet aswell, my mate Adam Milner was DJ, sure he was good mates with Parky at the time aswell, reyt place Barnsley. Keep up the good work boys 🍺👍🏼🦉 x

Watching this one for second time, but as far as Yorkshire accents go cut Nicky in half and he has definately got Yorkshire written through him. Second thoughts, Andy Liddell saying they will go up, he said that in his podcast last week
Nicky was number 13 in a recent Nottingham forest worst ever signings. 3 of Gary Megson signings was on this list, aswell as Gary Megson himself at number 10. Cloughy said about Meggo "he couldn't trap a bag of cement".

As a Forest fan I'd just like to say that he was utter shite for us, I've seen milk turn quicker. Fair play to him though, seems like a good lad and obviously had a good career before at Birmingham and Wigan, we just signed him when he was old n past it

You do know that it's them in the intro and in the podcast? Without them there is no podcast. Just slowly scroll on the bar till you see the guest and enjoy your life. It really isn't that important in the world
