FINE TUNE a bandsaw blade so it cuts better (delta rockwell)

  • There’s a big difference between a bandsaw that is set up correctly and one that is not. In this video will go through the technique and what to look for to make sure that your bandsaw blade is fine tuned correctly. First of all there is a curve on the wheels but the bandsaw blade rides on. Do you want to make sure that your teeth are in the middle of the wheel to allow your blade not to fish tail back-and-forth. There are also several guides that prevent the blade from moving back-and-forth. There’s also a bearing called a thrust bearing thatIs very close to the back part of the bandsaw blade when you start to push on a piece of wood when you’re cutting at the bearing will move. This bearing should not be touching the bandsaw blade, but it should be close to touching. Hope you found the video useful
