Anyone who wants to make a movie just watch this movie and how it was made it truly both entertains and educates and when I discovered filmmaking and mainly directing it was partly this movie that inspired me to begin directing I have now done a few short films and hope to make feature films one day

34:50 The first time Quint bonds with Hooper is when Quint says to Brody "Next time, chief, ask me", after Brody made a mistake pulling Hooper's cage line knots.

I saw Jaws in the theater when I was like 8, in the seventies, and I lived near where they filmed it, though I didn't know it at the time. I made the mistake of closing my eyes before the head came out of the boat. So, I then had nightmares of what it could look like, for 3 years after. I also closed my eyes before Quint got eaten on the boat, so I just heard his screaming.

Jaws, I feel, has had the most interesting BTS history than any other movie I know of. And it was essentially a starter film for Spielberg.

GREAT MOVIE, but one question which is never asked -- Why does Hooper go along on the sea hunt in Quint's boat, when Hooper has his own, hi-tech boat that he can just follow in?
