I was so iffy on buying a pack of the yellow duochrome. Definitely wish I had easier access to the blue. BUT Due to only having the singular pack I wanted to make sure I did the film justice. I appreciate you showing us how to get the best shots!

I figured you would talk about the new Polaroid duochrome film on this channel but you really knocked it out of the park with this video! The “TP thief” intro was hilarious! Like another commenter said, I’m also glad to see Lauren featured more. I missed out on the film the first day it was available but was able to order some when it was made available a few days later. Can’t wait to try it out!

The Yellow 600 film is my favorite polaroid film so far. I'm an Instax Wide user, and I love Instax monochrome film. I'm newer to Polaroid, and enjoy it, but the cost sucks. I wish Instax would come out with new chemistry as well.
It's such a cool creative tool, can't wait to see if they drop more colors. Price or otherwise, the creative potential of Polaroid is pretty unreal!

We are mega hyped!!! As for the intro, I was mobbed by 10 strong men but using Brazilian jiu-jitsu I took all of them down in one fell swoop. We shot it with a full cast of stunt performers and fight choreography but I had to cut it for time!!
Wondering why this channel doesn't have at least 10k
I routinely light a circle of open flames, cross my legs, and sing ancient CZcams hymns to try and conjure 10k subscribers. Has yet to work!

Bought a pack of 3 when Polaroid sent the email out, not knowing the cult hit it had. Can’t wait to try it out with my first SX-70 (converted for 600) in a couple of days!

Awesome George, can't wait to see those results! As for the camera used to film the vids, I use a Canon C200 and a GH5 with the metabones speedbooster (to use with Canon glass).

Hi, shooting in interiors with good light without flash and using a slr680. What setting do you recommend? Underexpose or overexpose?
I’d probably use the underexposure dial very very slightly since the camera may automatically overcompensate for the indoor lighting. I assume the light source is the sun through windows, otherwise don’t touch exposure comp.

This does look like a pretty good film, the only thing is that for Polaroid to make a lot of different experimental films it will be harder to produce colour and black-and-white meaning of could lead up to a price hikes and Polaroid film is already expensive
Possibly, but these runs are so few and far between that hopefully they can juggle their production without putting too much of a strain on the workflow!

Unfort my current stance on that is that I won't be reviewing anything people can't reasonably use or purchase. I might do something on the history of pack film, but I'm not tryina advocate people go spend $85 on expired FP-100C lol, but there's def a video to be made about it in general!

Yes, this is what I’m talking about at 3:05, there were blue and pink in 2017, the only such remixed chemistry released under the Polaroid brand name

Hey there! Pack film is unfortunately 100% discontinued and will not be returning to Polaroid in any capacity but it’s possibly a company like Lomography could do a roll film take on this style.
