- Did a lot of research and found this amazing performance exhaust for the Honda CBR650R. The Dominator exhaust is awesome value for money and sounds awesome. Video doesn't do it justice! đđđ
The CBR650R is arguably one of the best mid power bikes out there, especially for us here in Australia as LAMS approved.
An incredible sounding exhaust that looks aesthetically pleasing with a fitment comparable to the original stock exhaust. Looks awesome tucked underneath in my opinion. Also opted for a black muffler. đ

That's incredible you went from a stock exhaust that is quieter than my vacuum cleaner to a real exhaust built for a motorcycle. Definitely nice aftermarket exhaust sound and the quality looks great. Did you flash your ecu at all? I subscribed right away as I watched your video. Nice work!
Yes the sound has really opened up. It's a great aftermarket option that looks great and is affordable but most importantly sounds awesome! The ECU is getting flashed soon (end of the month), so I'm not riding too much currently. Will hope to get some footage of the dyno and will upload here! đThanks for subscribing! Nice video and nice sound, mate! One quicl question for you, did you had to cut any part or segment of the original exhaust? In the Dominator's site, they have 2 models to the CB650R, but the instructions tell that I need to cut the original exhaust, right before the catalizator...

Hey! I have just purchased this exact same exhaust, just a quick question as it is not covered in the video, was the O2 sensor easy to relocate into the new system? Also, how long did your install take? Im chomping at the bit to get going !!!
Congrats, the exhaust sounds unreal in person hey. Yes the O2 sensor was very easy to fit back as the position of the exhaust to the stock position was almost the same. I had my friend help me so it took I think roughly 2 hrs for the both of us. The only thing that took a little longer was actually the fitment of the cannon. All in all fairly simple install. Fairings were easy to take off and put back. Hope this helps and happy motoring!

That's awesome mate! My bike is tuned now and definitely turns heads. haha Sounds so nice with a slightly deeper tone. Not obnoxiously loud either! You don't need to order anything else. Will have everything ready to go for install. It's a bolt on install once removing the old exhaust! Good luck and have fun with it mate! Always so exciting modding. đđ

I love the look of the stock that's why I went with the low mount version. They have a longer side mount which I didn't want.
I like the look and sound of the stock unit myself ...... But hey if you got the bucks that system he put on looks and sounds great too.
What did you do about the lambda sensor please?
I saw its like 400eur for a full system.. Did you get all the pipes and silencer or did you have to cut OEM pipes to fit the slip on?

Thanks mate, I took the DB killer out. Sounds nice and deep, not obnoxious though which is great from all friends feedback who hear it! I'm actually about to order a separate db killer which takes out more noise. Just to be reduce some noise when I go on longer day rides.đ

Do you by any chance know the weight difference of the stock compared to the new exhaust
I did look it up at the time I got the exhaust and it's definitely a weight reduction, just not sure on the figures. I just went off the figures I found online. Any saving in weight was a bonus :)

Same exhaust as me! It's so good, did you have a Db killer? Mine came with the medium pre installed, removed that after a few days and it's sweeeet
Nicee, how good is the deeper tone!! I'm waiting on a tune for it which will make this thing very fun. Yeh it came with the medium baffle which I removed straight away haha. Thinking of getting the higher db killer though for everyday riding..will see.
Did you install a tank cover? Or did you have it repainted without the stripes?
I got rid of the grey stripes and just wrapped it in a matte black wrap. Looks very stealth!

Nar nothing. Original O2 sensor and no check engine light. I tried not to ride it too much before I got it tuned and never redlined etc. Now that the tune is done, it is very fun as you can imagine. đđ

hello, was it necessary to change the gaskets where the exhaust tightens on the engine?
The gaskets come with the exhaust already so a direct bolt on. No extra parts required. Straight out of the box fitment. Only thing is you have to remove the fairings as some areas are quite tight to reach. Thanks!

Unsure of the decibels sorry, All I can say is it's sounds incredible without the baffle. The roar on it is amazing, but also nice and comfortable with the baffle in for daily riding. Still sounds awesome on high revs :)

Wrapped the tank. Still kept a few gloss panels, but love the matte black look.

Yes they have a version for the CB650R. You should check out the Dominator exhaust video for the Honda CB650R. I'd imagine it would be same position considering it's the same engine.
Sounds a lot like the Two Brothers exhaust on a cbr600rr.

My bike is actually gloss black. I just wrapped the tank in matte. The front and tail are still gloss, I quite like that mix and look. What colour did you get?

Everyone recommends it and I'm actually booked in for tune very soon. I've been riding it a couple of times, not long distances and it has been fine. No check engine light or feel anything funny going on. The tune will be featured in next video :)

The exhaust comes with it's own gaskets.
Does it need a tune? Or can you just ride? Dont wanna harm The engine
A full aftermarket exhaust will require a tune, if you watch the other video my tuner explains the process of the tune.

Like any exhaust fitted on a motorbike, I think there is always a chance. I think the way someone rides can also increase or decrease chance of getting pulled up. haha

The middle and bottoms will be lost and the motorcycle will ride worse. Oh, and fuel consumption. It's not a good idea to change the exhaust system
Appreciate the concern mate, but that's all been sorted with a full dyno tune using Woolich racing. The fuel ratio has been tuned to match the particular exhaust on the bike. đCheers! You can check out the tuning video on my channel.
You ruined a perfectly civlized factory sound and replaced it by a shriek that only causes car drivers and pedestrians to increase their unapreciation (or shall I say hate?) to all of us motorcyclists.
